I Made My Own Grappling Dummy...Here is How and Here’s What I Learned

A couple weeks into quarantine, I decided to do something I have wanted to for a long time, which is making a grappling dummy. I wanted it to have lots of articulation and versatility and to be durable. This video documents most of the procedure behind this endeavor. It took a while, and mistakes were made, but ultimately there are some aspects to it that made a great solo training device.

Materials I used:
• 10 feet PVC pipe
• 4 - 90 degree PVC elbows
• 4 - 45 degree PVC elbows
• 1 PVC 4-way cross
• 1 PVC tee
• 9 door springs
• 5-6 rolls of duct tape
• 5-6 foam pool noodles
• Lots of old clothes or sheets for padding
• Rope - appx 15 feet

I hope you like the video, and I will have plenty more technique and concept videos coming soon as well. Thank you all for watching!
