But my appreciation is different, if clearly the story of friendship between Joao and DinDin penguin, but it is important to see the first 10 minutes of the film, where Joao is with his son Miguel on his birthday and his son insisted him to go fishing, and seeing the bad weather he hesitates to continue rowing and before the insistence of his son to fulfill his desire, Joao continues rowing until he is hit by a wave where Miguel loses his life at the bottom of the sea. After the title of the film is revealed, the fisherman is shown rowing as an old, broken and deeply sad man, personified by the actor Jean Reno, since one as a spectator labels or pigeonholes the actors, especially Jean, a tough and hard man.
And as a family film, where the narrative is somewhat easy to understand, this film has many symbolisms, such as Joao's mourning and redemption in saving the oil-filled penguin on the shore, where he cleans and feeds it, creating a shelter for it with recycled fishing materials.

A super interesting element is the penguin's point of view, since as a curious animal a somewhat rare quality in this breed walks around the fishing village being popular in the small town, a scene for me important or that stands out is the tree where miguel swings back from the square after receiving the gift from callista her friend, the scene where the penguin goes out to explore the town behind a woman, emphasizes the tree with a flash of lights, I do not know if it was deliberately by the camera director to emphasize the scene. Thus uniting the bond between Joao, his late son and the penguin.
I recommend this film if you want to spend time and share with your family, but if you are going through a situation of grief, I recommend you take a second, more detailed look, because Jean Reno is established for me as an excellent actor to convey this weight of guilt and how the penguin manages to get out of this stage by releasing the bitter memory and how his wife tells him that it was never his fault the death of his son, This feeling is quite touching and liberating, and Joao ends up redeeming himself by saving him for the second time when he thinks he will never see him again by rescuing him for the second time, with the help of friends and fishermen.
It is a visually beautiful film, which although its director did not want it to look like a documentary, has some beautiful aerial shots of Patagonia, where this species congregates as it is a very social species among them and they are in large groups.

Hola querida comunidad, paso por acá por primera vez, y hoy domingo para terminar las semana en familia les traigo una joya de caso de la vida real.
Ya llevo una semana de que vi esta hermosa película, estrenada el mes pasado y trata según el titulo la romántica amistad de un quebrado y triste pescador de la isla grande en rio de Janeiro y un pingüino de magallanes.

Pero mi apreciación es otra, si claramente trata la historia de amistad entre Joao y el pingüino DinDin, pero es importante ver los primeros 10 minutos de la película, donde se encuentra Joao con su hijo Miguel el día de su cumpleaños y su hijo le insistía por ir pescar, y este al ver el mal tiempo este duda de seguir remando y antes la insistencia del hijo por cumplir su deseo, Joao sigue remando hasta que lo enviste una ola donde Miguel, pierde la vida en el fondo del mar. Luego de revelarse el titulo de la película se muestra el pescador remando ya viejo, quebrado y profundamente triste personificado en el actor Jean Reno, ya que uno como espectador etiqueta o encasilla a los actores, sobre todo a Jean un hombre rudo y duro.
Y es que como película familiar, donde la narrativa resulta algo fácil de entender, esta película tiene muchos simbolismos, como el duelo de Joao y la redención al salvar en la costa al pingüino lleno de petróleo, donde lo limpia y alimenta, creándole con materiales de pesca reciclado un refugio.

Un elemento super interesante es el punto de vista del pingüino, ya que como animal curioso una cualidad algo rara en esta raza pasea por el pueblo de pescadores siendo popular en el pequeño pueblo, una escena para mi importante o que se destaca es el árbol donde miguel se balancea de regreso de la plaza después de recibir el regalo de callista su amiga, la escena donde el pingüino sale a explorar el pueblo detrás de una mujer, hace énfasis en el árbol con un destello de luces, no se si fue adrede por parte del director de cámaras enfatizar la escena. Uniendo así mas los lazo de Joao, su difunto hijo y el pingüino.
Recomiendo esta películas si quieres pasar el rato y compartir en familia, pero si estas pasando por una situación de duelo, te recomiendo hacer una segunda mirada mas detallada, porque Jean Reno se consagra para mi como un excelente actor al trasmitir este peso de la culpa y de como con el pingüino logra salir de esta etapa al soltar ese amargo recuerdo y de como su mujer le comenta que nunca fue su culpa la muerte de su hijo, es bastante conmovedor y liberador este sentimiento, y que termina Joao de redimirse al salvar por segunda vez cuando cree que no lo volvería a ver al rescatarlo por segunda vez, con la ayuda amigos y pescadores.
Es una película visualmente hermosa, que aunque su director no quería que se viera como un documental, tiene unas hermosas tomas aéreas de la Patagonia, donde se congrega esta especie ya que es una especie muy social entre ellos y están en grandes grupos.
