It is about Fracture, which tells the story of Ray, his wife Joanne and their daughter Peri who are traveling through the city to her in-laws' house, on the way the family makes a rest stop, where little Peri falls in a construction zone and apparently breaks her arm, the three go very quickly to a nearby hospital, where the girl is treated and is taken with her mother to have an examination while Ray goes to the waiting room and gradually falls asleep. When he wakes up and asks for his family, no one at the hospital remembers having attended to his daughter, nor is there any record of any patient with his name, Ray in desperation begins to search for his family and suspects that the hospital is conspiring in the disappearance of his family and will not rest until he knows the truth.
Ray played by Sam Worthington is the main character in this thriller, a father and husband desperately searching for his family in the hospital, he has memories of registering his daughter, filling out forms and answering routine questions about his daughter's health and then being seen by the emergency doctor where he gives the order to do an MRI on the girl to rule out any abnormalities due to the fall. But only he has these memories, the hospital staff does not remember having attended to any girl, where Ray in the midst of his confusion and anguish, begins a journey to discover what the hospital hides and why all conspire against him, but this path only leads him gradually to discover very murky things about himself, this film will fill you with uncertainty, and you will not want to leave until you know what is really happening.

Ray manages to get in touch with some policemen and asks them for help to find his family, he tells them his suspicion that the hospital is hiding something sinister, the policemen kindly agree to help Ray, but neither the computers nor the security cameras have records of his wife and daughter. They decide to call a psychiatrist to help Ray understand this whole situation, she manages to connect little by little with Ray and discovers that he had already gone through a strong trauma in his past and possibly this new trauma has led him to distort things a little, but Ray does not accept this theory and decides to lash out against everyone until he gets his family.
My opinion, suspense is one of my favorite genres, because I like a movie that manages to keep me not knowing what happens, that causes me uncertainty, and when something is very predictable I lose interest easily, this movie managed to keep me alert and I loved it, the plot manages to make you feel empathy for the character in his desperation for the search and to some extent you suspect the same things that the character suspects, they achieved that effect or Sam managed to interpret this character very well, the viewer empathizes with the character and along with him we discover the truth of what happens that in the end leaves us really perplexed by the reality, we did not see it coming.

Fracture, it may be due to a broken bone, either of the child or of Ray himself, but I think it is more at a mental level, a mental fracture where he dissociates himself from a reality that he does not want to accept and imagine another one that calms his broken heart a little by the traumatic experience he has just lived, where in the past he had also lived something similar, unconsciously the survival to so much pain leads him to create another less painful scenario where the culprits are others and not himself.
This movie has its years, it's from 2019, but if you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it, the movie manages to play with our mind and feelings. Thank you very much for reading me, great week friends.
