Greetings dear #Hivers today I make my entry to the community's favorite action movie competition with a movie I saw recently from director Guy Ritchie, with Actor Jason Statham as the main actor of the film. I'm honest with you, action movies are not my forte, you've already seen me here posting movies with a lot of psychological content or at least focus on those aspects of the film, and usually are dramas, comedies, or even animated films, but when it comes to action movies is difficult to do this, however, I selected 2 of which I will make my review for the competition, the first one is this Whrath of Man.
Saludos queridos #Hivers el día de hoy hago mi entrada a la competencia de películas de acción favorita de la comunidad con una película que vi hace poco del director Guy Ritchie, con el Actor Jason Statham como actor principal del film. Les soy sincera no es mii fuerte las películas de acción, ya me han visto por aquí publicar películas con bastante contenido psicológico o por lo menos enfocarme en esos aspectos del film, y generalmente son dramas, comedias, o hasta películas animadas, pero en lo que se refiere a películas de acción es difícil realizar esto, sin embargo, seleccioné 2 de las que voy a hacer mis review para la competencia, la primera es ésta Whrath of Man
The film is about a character that we will call "H" by his full name Patrick Hills, but in the film he is called that way, with the diminutive "H", who is hired by a company of armored trucks that transport values, that is to say money, large sums of money, He is a former private security agent, divorced, without children, who decides to enter this job in which he must risk his life by transporting in those trucks, large, but read me well "large" sums of money, that is, tens and hundreds of millions of dollars! That is, a little bit of money XD
At the beginning we see him as an ordinary guy who just looked for a job, without much experience with weapons, just an average knowledge, which he must use to protect what he transports in the armored truck in case of any confrontation or robbery attempt, robbery attempts that obviously the company has already suffered, but quickly as the film goes on we realize that this man is not just what they try to show us at the beginning, we already know that this man is something more!
There is something that "H" hides that makes him different from the others, he is a guy who seems to have skills that can make him superior to all those guys who work in that armored car company, and you do not understand why he wants a job like that, when he could have a job where he can show more of his real skills, which at first glance seem many, so at the beginning of the film you are already thinking Is it really that this guy with this look, does not know how to shoot a gun so simple? Why would a person like him go to the trouble of having a job like that, risking his life for money that isn't even his? What benefit is he looking for by working there? And it's with all that intrigue that they play throughout the whole movie, that makes you get hooked to it and not wanting to move even for a second from the chair to find out all those answers. If you are a lover of action thrillers, I promise you that you are going to love this movie because in it you are going to see all the elements of this type of movie that you want to see, so believe me you are going to love it!
La película trata sobre un personaje que llamaremos "H" por su nombre completo Patrick Hills, pero en la película lo llaman así, con el diminutivo "H", quien es contratado por una empresa de camiones blindados que transportan valores, es decir dinero, grandes sumas de dinero, él es un ex agente de seguridad privado, divorciado, sin hijos, que decide entrar a ese trabajo en el cual debe arriesgar su vida al transportar en esos camiones, grandes, pero léanme bien "grandes" sumas de dinero, es decir ¡decena y cientos de millones de dólares! O sea, un poquito de dinero XD
Al principio lo vemos como un tipo común y corriente que solo buscó un trabajo, sin mucha experiencia con armas, solo un conocimiento medio, las cuales debe usar para proteger lo que transporte en el camión blindado en caso de algún enfrentamiento o intento de robo, intentos de robo que evidentemente ya ha sufrido la compañía por cierto, pero rápidamente al transcurrir la película nos damos cuenta de que este hombre no es solo eso que nos intentan mostrar al principio, ya sabemos que este hombre es ¡algo más!
Hay algo que oculta "H" que lo hace ser distinto a los demás, es un tipo que parece tener habilidades que lo pueden hacer superior a todos esos tipos que trabajan en esa empresa de blindados, y que no entiendes por qué quiere un trabajo como ese, pudiendo tener un trabajo donde demuestre más sus verdaderas destrezas, que a simple vista parecieran muchas, por lo que al comienzo de la película ya estás pensando ¿Es en serio que ese tipo con este aspecto, no sabe disparar un arma tan sencilla? ¿Por qué una persona como él se tomaría la molestia de tener un trabajo de ese tipo, arriesgando su vida por un dinero que ni siquiera es suyo? ¿Qué beneficio está buscando al trabajar ahí? Y es con toda esa intriga que juegan a lo largo de toda la película, que te hace quedar enganchado a ella y no querer moverte ni un segundo de la silla para descubrir todas esas respuestas. Si eres amante de los thrillers de acción, te prometo que te va a encantar esta película porque en ella vas a ver todos los elementos de este tipo de películas que quieres ver, así que créeme ¡te va a gustar!
I tell you that this movie left me pleasantly surprised! And that's why I selected it, you already know that I'm one of those who watch movies more to find messages, reflections and learnings of life, you have already seen my posts before, but from time to time I get out of the routine and watch movies of a different genre than I usually see that, although they will not leave you a great, great learning, they allow you to study the human mind is its extension and variety, which is also what I look for when watching movies in any of its genres.
Before talking about the movie as such, I must say that what I liked most about it was the main character "H" because I feel that it is a relatively common plot to see in the movies the one I described in the synopsis, but maybe it is not so common this kind of characters, at least not being interpreted in this way, or maybe it is? And I don't know? Maybe, because action movies are not my forte, I'm going to give you my humble opinion on why even though I don't have a great background watching action movies I feel that the screenwriter, and the director who by the way is Guy Ritchie who also served as co-writer, did a good job building the character and of course Jason Statham playing him.
Les cuento que esta película me dejó ¡gratamente sorprendida! Y por eso la seleccioné, ya saben que soy de las que ve películas más para encontrar mensajes, reflexiones y aprendizajes de la vida, ya ustedes han visto mis post con anterioridad, pero de vez en cuando me salgo de la rutina y veo películas de algún género distinto al que acostumbro a ver que, si bien no te van a dejar un gran, gran aprendizaje, te permiten estudiar la mente humana es su extensión y variedad, cosa que también es lo que busco al ver el cine en cualquiera de sus géneros.
Antes de hablar de la película como tal, debo decir que lo que más me gustó de ella fue el personaje principal "H" porque siento que es una trama relativamente común de ver en el cine la que describí en la sinopsis, pero tal vez no es tan común este tipo de personajes, por lo menos no siendo interpretados de esta forma, o tal vez ¿sí? Y ¿yo no lo sé? Puede ser, porque no es mi fuerte el cine de acción, les voy a dar mi humilde opinión del por qué aun cuando no tengo una gran trayectoria viendo cine de acción siento que el guionista, y el director quien por cierto es Guy Ritchie que también sirvió como coguionista, hicieron un buen trabajo al construir el personaje y por supuesto Jason Statham al interpretarlo.
Whenever I watch movies in one way or another I always end up analyzing the characters psychologically to be able to understand them in their totality, and when I can't I get a little stressed for not being able to understand them, and that's why I like movies because in 45 minutes or even 3 and 4 hours of movies there are many things I can analyze and understand about them, as well as the plots, this is one of the main factors that made me like this movie, because it allowed me to fully understand "H" throughout the film and did not leave me with any unknown outside in the whole plot.
"H" is shown as a cold, calculating person, who appears to have no feelings at all and to be completely expressionless, in complete contrast to the whole work group where he goes to work, where everyone jokes around, they are sociable, colleagues at last, but "H" no! H from the moment you see him entering the door just with the look he has, the way he walks, his posture and without even speaking you know that the guy has a dark soul, just as the first part of the film is titled.
"H" supposedly passed the weapons skills test they perform to be able to enter the team with the minimum grade, but you don't believe any of that from minute zero and this is not a spoiler because it is immediately that you know there is more to that man, all the aura he releases is of darkness, of mystery and of a lot of coldness already that way I loved the movie because I love those characters that seem to have no soul and to be the bad guys of everything, but they are really disturbed characters and even if they don't look like it, they are really the good guys and I love that ambiguity in the characters!
Siempre que veo películas de una forma y otra siempre termino analizando psicológicamente a los personajes para poder entenderlos en su totalidad, y cuando no puedo me estreso un poco por no poder comprenderlos, y es por eso que me gusta el cine porque en 45 minutos o hasta 3 y 4 horas de películas hay muchas cosas que puedo analizar y comprender de ellos, así como de las tramas, este es uno de los principales factores que hizo que me gustara esta película, porque me permitió entender completamente a "H" durante todo el film y no me dejó con ninguna incógnita por fuera en toda la trama.
A "H" lo muestran como una persona fría, calculadora, que aparenta totalmente no tener sentimientos y ser completamente inexpresivo, contrastante completamente con todo el grupo de trabajo donde entra a trabajar, en donde todos echan bromas, son sociables, compañeros al fin, pero "H" ¡no! a H desde que lo ves entrando por la puerta solo con la mirada que tiene, la forma de caminar, su postura y sin siquiera hablar ya sabes que el tipo tiene un alma oscura, tal cual como se titula la primera parte de la película.
"H" supuestamente pasó la prueba de destreza con armas que realizan para poder entrar al equipo con la nota mínima, pero tú no te crees nada de eso desde el minuto cero y esto no es un spoiler porque es de inmediato que sabes que hay más en ese hombre, toda el aura que él libera es de oscuridad, de misterio y de mucha frialdad ya por ahí me encantaba la película porque amo esos personajes que parecen no tener alma y ser los malos de todo, pero son realmente personajes perturbados y aunque no lo parezcan, ellos son realmente los buenos y a mi esa ambigüedad en los personajes ¡me encanta!
At times trying my psyche to understand his, I found a resemblance to people with psychopathic behaviors, this group of people who have zero empathy with others, who find it difficult to socialize, who only focus on certain goals, do not distinguish clearly between right and wrong, generally lie, like to go against what is socially acceptable, but there is a characteristic element of this type of personality in which "H" did not fit and that is impulsivity.
"H" has all the traits of an antisocial personality but he has an exaggerated self-control, and this is his most striking feature! you will not see him fighting with anyone senselessly, you will not see him wasting time arguing with people who say offensive things to him, "H" responds, yes, he does, but he always avoids the fight, or he responds in the most sarcastic way possible, but with a self-control that leaves you petrified and you say ok! this guy does not have a mental problem, this guy knows very well what he is doing, his psyche is not controlling him and making him do crazy things, no! This guy is completely capable of controlling his mind by himself, he does not have any psychiatric pathology, here what developed is a change of attitude in himself as a consequence of something, that something that made him become what he is, but from the beginning you notice his determination and you notice a goal he wants to achieve, even if you don't know what it is.
You know he is not the kind of person who acts impulsively, because he is driven by his emotions or his instincts, no! This man knows very well how to handle himself under stress, because he is an expert in that, so what is he looking for in that place? That's why I like the way they built the character because it makes you doubt, at times you think he may be a person with a psychopathic disorder, at other times you think he may be a psychopath, but then you realize that no, none of that fits him, he is not mentally ill, there is something else!
Por momentos tratando mi psique de entender la de él, le encontré un parecido a las personas con conductas psicopáticas, este grupo de personas que tienen cero empatías con los demás, que se les dificulta socializar, que solo se enfocan en ciertos objetivos, no distinguen claramente entre el bien y el mal, generalmente mienten, les gusta ir en contra de lo socialmente aceptable, pero hay un elemento característico de este tipo de personalidad en la que no encajaba "H" y es la impulsividad.
"H" tiene todos los rasgos de una personalidad antisocial pero tiene un exagerado control de sí mismo, y esta ¡es su característica más llamativa! no lo vas a ver peleando con nadie sin sentido, no lo vas a ver perdiendo el tiempo discutiendo con personas que le digan cosas ofensivas, "H" responde, sí, lo hace, pero siempre evita la pelea, o responde de la forma más sarcástica posible, pero con un autocontrol que te deja petrificado y dices ¡ok! este tipo no tiene un problema mental, este tipo sabe muy bien lo que hace, su psique no está controlándolo a él y lo está haciendo cometer locuras ¡no! Este tipo es completamente capaz de controlar su mente por sí solo, no tiene ninguna patología psiquiátrica, aquí lo que se desarrolló es un cambio de actitud en sí mismo como consecuencia de algo, ese algo que lo hizo convertirse en lo que es, pero desde el principio notas su determinación y notas un objetivo que quiere alcanzar, aun cuando no sabes cuál es.
Sabes que no es el tipo de personas que actúa por impulsividad, porque se deja llevar por sus emociones o por sus instintos ¡no! Este hombre sabe muy bien manejarse así mismo bajo estrés, porque es un experto en eso ¿entonces qué es lo que busca en ese lugar? Por eso me gusta como construyeron el personaje porque te hace dudar, por momentos piensas que puede ser una persona con un trastorno psicopático, por otros momentos piensas que puede ser un psicópata, pero luego te das cuenta de que no, nada de eso concuerda con él, él no es ningún enfermo mental ¡Hay algo más!
That's why you will be so impressed to notice that "H" underneath all that completely expressionless facie and with so few dialogues and interactions with others, there is a man who only has a deep pain, one of the hardest pains that any person can have in his whole life, and that whether you want it or not changes it completely, but don't get me wrong throughout the movie we can see that "H" was always excellent in the work he did and that he deserved a great control over himself, his personality was somewhat similar to the current one, but there is a breaking point in his life.
Normally these crises produce a decline in personalities, some traumatic process that makes you become emotionally unstable for a while, until time passes and your psyche is restructured and gets used to your new reality. Normally that is what happens, but in "H" it seems that it did not, that on the contrary that breaking point made him sharpen even more his own personality traits, making him more extreme from every point of view and that in search of appeasing the pain or the trauma generated by that breaking point, then he turned all that problem and pain into an objective that he had to fulfill.
These types of people also exist, they are not frequent, but they do exist, those who have so much self-control that they do not let themselves be discouraged by a difficult moment, but on the contrary they become more determined to achieve a goal, because they know that achieving that goal will make their pain go down a little or at least they will make some sense out of what happened and what affected them so much.
Por eso te quedarás tan impresionado a notar que "H" debajo de toda esa facie completamente inexpresiva y con tan pocos diálogos e interacciones con los demás, hay un hombre que solo tiene un profundo dolor, uno de los dolores más duros que cualquier persona puede tener en toda su vida, y que quieras o no te la cambia por completo, pero no me malinterpreten a lo largo de la película podemos ver que "H" siempre fue excelente en el trabajo que ejercía y que ameritaba un gran control sobre sí mismo, su personalidad era algo parecida a la actual, pero existe un punto de quiebre en su vida.
Estos puntos de quiebres de los que les hablo, son crisis en los seres humanos, normalmente estas crisis producen un declive en las personalidades, algún proceso traumático que hace que emocionalmente te vuelvas inestables por un tiempo, hasta que pase el tiempo y tu psique se reestructure y se acostumbre a tu nueva realidad. Normalmente eso es lo que ocurre, pero en "H" pareciera que no, que al contrario ese punto de quiebre lo hizo agudizar aún más sus propios rasgos de personalidad, hacerlo más extremo desde todo punto de vista y que en busca de aplacar el dolor o el trauma generado por ese punto de quiebre, entonces convirtió todo ese problema y dolor en un objetivo que debía cumplir.
Ese tipo de personas también existen, no son frecuentes, pero existen, esas que tienen tanto autocontrol que no se dejan decaer por un momento difícil, sino que al contrario se vuelven más determinadas en cumplir una meta, porque saben que el cumplir esa meta hará que descienda un poco su dolor o por lo menos harán que eso que sucedió y que les afectó tanto, tenga algún sentido.
And all this that I explain above are simply psychological mechanisms to pain, we use them without even realizing it, our psyche is adapted for that, it is a way to prevent a great pain from destroying us, that kind of pain that either kills you or you adapt to it, because if it does not destroy you completely, when there are such pains the only way to overcome them is to transform us, because if we remain as we were before, then it can finish with us and with our mental stability, however these psychological mechanisms can get out of control, they can hurt us and make us suffer from mental illnesses, but none of this is the case of "H", H has perfect control of his mind, his actions and his personality and he will make use of every aspect of it, sharpening it to achieve his goal, no matter what! For all these reasons I loved the character because he didn't let his personal crisis overcome him.
Y todo esto que les explico arriba son sencillamente mecanismos psicológicos ante el dolor, los usamos sin siquiera darnos cuenta, nuestra psique está adaptada para eso, es una forma de evitar que un gran dolor nos destruya, ese tipo de dolores que o te matan o te adaptas a él, porque si no te destruye completamente, cuando existen ese tipo de dolores la única forma de poder superarlos es transformándonos, porque si permanecemos como anteriormente éramos, entonces puede acabar con nosotros y con nuestra estabilidad mental, sin embargo estos mecanismos psicológicos se pueden salir de control, pueden hacernos daño y hacernos sufrir de enfermedades mentales, pero nada de esto es el caso de "H", H tiene perfecto control de su mente, de sus acciones y su personalidad y va a hacer uso de cada aspecto suyo agudizándolo para alcanzar su meta ¡a como dé lugar! Por todas estas razones es que amé el personaje porque no se dejó vencer por su crisis personal.
I must say that I liked that they gave a broader vision of how was the life of "the bad guys" that is to say the group that assaulted the armored trucks and who are just that, "the bad guys of the movie" normally in action movies they only present us the character and the bad characters that we must hate yes or because yes, but in many of them they don't show us the construction of the character and I hate that! because well, that's me, I like to know where their problem comes from, I feel it's a way to make this kind of movies more real, the fact that they show them as humans, that they have families, that they have friendships, makes us believe more in the movie and that it can be real.
Debo decir que me gustó que dieran una visión más amplia de cómo era la vida de "los malos" es decir del grupo que asaltaba los camiones blindados y que son eso, "los malos de la película" normalmente en las películas de acción solo nos presentan al personaje y los personajes malos que debemos odiar sí o porque sí, pero en muchas de ellas no nos muestran la construcción del personaje y ¡odio eso! porque me gusta saber de dónde nace su problema, siento que es una forma de hacer este tipo de películas más reales, el hecho de que los muestren como humanos, que tienen familias, que tienen amistades, nos hace creer más en la película y en que puede ser real.
I tried to analyze them too because we already know that they are bad, but I wanted to try to understand, as always, where that malice came from because well, that's how I am, always trying to find reasons for people's attitudes, their personalities and, above all, trying to see something good in people's souls, no matter how bad they look externally, but guess what? Nothing, my friends! Nothing! There was no good reason for their attitudes other than, greed and ambition to have a lot of money and that alone! All the money that was transported in the armored trucks.
This ambition was growing more and more, until they committed the most terrible deeds, without caring about anything or anyone; this made me remember that yes! There are people who are only moved by personal goals and in whom only pure evil reigns, there are always this type of characters who literally have no soul, just a lot of ambition and nothing else! So I said to myself: "Yes Dalla, the world is that cruel and there are people that ruthless, even if you refuse to see something that is so obvious " at that moment I laughed at myself and my waste of time trying to find the good in them, but well, that's how I am, what can you do! =/
Traté de analizarlos a ellos también porque ya sabemos que son malos, pero yo quería tratar de entender, como siempre, de dónde venía esa malicia porque bueno, así soy, tratando siempre de encontrarle razones a las actitudes de las personas, a sus personalidades y, sobre todo, tratando de ver algo bueno siempre en el alma de la gente, por muy malos que se vean externamente, pero ¿adivinen que? ¡Nada amigos! ¡Nada! No había razón buena para sus actitudes más que, la avaricia y la ambición por tener mucho dinero y ¡solo eso! Todo el dinero que se transportaba en los camiones blindados.
Esta ambición fue creciendo cada vez más y más, hasta hacerlos cometer los más terribles hechos, sin importarles nada ni nadie; esto me hizo recordar que ¡sí! Hay personas que solo se mueven por objetivos personales y en quienes sólo impera la pura maldad, siempre hay este tipo de personajes que literalmente no tienen alma, solo mucha ambición y ¡nada más! Así que me dije: "Si Dalla, el mundo es así de cruel y hay personas así de despiadadas, aun cuando te niegues a ver algo que es tan evidente" en ese momento me reí de mi misma y mi pérdida de tiempo tratando de encontrar lo bueno en ellos, pero bueno, así soy ¡que se hace! =/
The plot of the movie is interesting, it kept me intrigued to know the answer to all my questions from the synopsis until the end, even though it is something we have already seen in the movies, the fact that they recreate it and add new elements pleases me, the fact of adding good performances improves a lot the panorama, besides reading about the names of the supporting actors, I read that this movie is the remake of a French movie called "Le convoyeur" from 2004, so new, new, it was not the plot, but improved.
I really liked the fact that they show the vision of what happened at the climax of the movie but from the bad guys point of view, something not always present in action movies where we simply hate the bad guy all at once because of the vision they show us; the fact that they let us see the other vision, allows us to have our own opinion of the facts and try to understand better what happened, and I must say that, in effect, it made me change my mind about the vision that "H" had, which is the one they show most of the movie, and about the hatred I had from the beginning to some characters, because for a moment I doubted and I came to pity them, thinking that it was only by necessity that they did what they did but no! the fact that they showed this vision of them, made me hate them even more! So thanks Guy Ritchie! for making me remember the problem of working in teams, where you don't know the personal motivations that each of the members have to carry out a certain plan, and where due to selfishness and ulterior motives, everything can turn into a real disaster! XD
La trama de la película es interesante, me mantuvo en la intriga de saber la respuesta de todas mis preguntas de la sinopsis hasta el final, aun cuando es algo que hemos visto ya en el cine, el hecho de que la recreen y le agreguen elementos nuevos me agrada, ya de por sí el hecho de agregarle buenas actuaciones mejora mucho el panorama, además leyendo sobre los nombre de los actores secundarios, leí que esta película es la remake de una francesa llamada "Le convoyeur" del 2004, por lo que nueva, nueva, no era la trama, pero sí mejorada.
Me gustó mucho el hecho de que muestren la visión de lo que sucedió en el momento cumbre de la película pero desde el punto de vista de los malos, cosa no siempre presente en las películas de acción donde sencillamente odiamos al malo de una vez por la visión que nos muestran; el hecho de que nos dejen ver la otra visión, nos permite que podemos nosotros tener nuestra propia opinión de los hechos y tratar de entender mejor qué fue lo que sucedió, y debo decir que, en efecto, me hizo cambiar de parecer sobre la visión que tenía "H", que es la que muestran la mayor parte de la película, y sobre el odio que le tenía desde el principio a algunos personajes, ya que por un momento dudé y les llegué a tener lástima, pensando que solo fue por necesidad que hicieron lo que hicieron pero ¡no! el que mostraran esta visión de ellos, me hizo odiarlos ¡aún más! Así que ¡gracias Guy Ritchie! por hacerme recordar el problema de trabajar en equipos, en donde no sabes las motivaciones personales que tiene cada uno de los integrantes para llevar a cabo un determinado plan, y en donde debido al egoísmo y segundas intenciones, todo se puede convertir en ¡un verdadero desastre! XD
The type of violence, I must say that much of the first part of the film has a violence that, to me in particular, gives me more chills than the physical violence that is in most action movies, and is passive aggressive violence, that where there are only gestures and explicit comments, but also where there are only specific shots without much physical contact, it is not a movie where you will see great demonstrations of physical prowess, as super trained choreography of fighting, no fists, as Statham is used to do, what you will see is a lot of gun shots in strategic areas, leaving nothing to the imagination, they are deaths with dry shots straight where they should go, scenes with a lot of death around, little suffering and many psychotic facies everywhere, so I liked it a lot for that, it is not the kind of violence too graphic, it is simply taking you to the limit in your emotions in each assault, nothing too difficult to see and at the same time shows that certainty that is very rewarding to see!
The topics covered, the film deals with armored trucks and transport of valuables, as I said before, but we can also see how they slightly touch on issues such as kidnapping, extortion, sexual abuse, drugs and even pedophilia, and when a film touches on important issues like that and also put the main actor acting in favor of that, for me it has my heart, even if everything is surrounded by a lot of blood, because the main character is not only guided by his personal goal, but also shows his good intentions in general, even if they are not at all obvious.
The motivations, I like how they show this in the movie especially the motivations of "H", how they clearly explain why he acts the way he does and what drives him to commit his acts, he is an amazing character more than for his physical prowess, for his mental prowess, the guy has an impressive capacity of determination, and even when at the beginning everything started as an obsession to reach his goal and appease his pain, he achieves so much control over himself to be able to carry out his plan perfectly, that it is completely admirable, that capacity of mental control not just anyone has, and all in all he is a good example, of course we don't want people to become murderers out there, but he is a good example of how a motivation that is big enough can lead you to achieve the goal you want so much. So yes, he achieved what he wanted, no matter how hard it was to achieve it, for that I admire him and he also turned that pain into determination without letting the pain destroy him. That's why I loved it!
- El tipo de violencia, debo decir que gran parte de la primera parte de la película tiene una violencia que, a mí en lo particular, me da más escalofríos que la violencia física que hay en la mayoría de las películas de acción, y es la violencia pasivo agresiva, esa donde solo hay gestos y comentarios explícitos, pero, además, donde hay solo disparos puntuales sin mucho contacto físico, no es una película donde verás grandes demostraciones de destreza física, como coreografías súper entrenadas de lucha, nada de puños, como acostumbra Statham a hacer, ya que es experto en varias artes marciales, lo que si veras son muchos disparos de armas puntuales en zonas estratégicas, sin dejar nada a la imaginación, son muertes con disparos secos directo a donde deben ir, escenas con mucha muerte alrededor, poco sufrimiento y muchas facies psicóticas por doquier, así que me gustó bastante por eso, no es el tipo de violencia excesivamente gráfica, simplemente es llevarte al límite en tus emociones en cada asalto, nada excesivamente difícil de ver y a la vez demuestra esa certeza que es ¡muy gratificante de ver!
- Los temas tratados, la película trata sobre camiones blindados y transportes de valores, como ya dije anteriormente, pero también podemos observar como tocan levemente temas como secuestro, extorsiones, abuso sexual, drogas y hasta pedofilia, y ya cuando una película toca así temas importantes y aparte colocan al actor principal actuando en pro de eso, ya para mi tiene mi corazón, así sea que todo esté rodeado de mucha sangre, porque el personaje principal no solo se guía por su objetivo personal, sino que además demuestra sus buenas intenciones en general, aun cuando no son para nada evidentes.
- Las motivaciones, me gusta como demuestran esto en la película sobre todo las motivaciones de "H", como explican claramente el por qué actúa de esa forma y lo que lo lleva a cometer sus actos, es un personaje sorprendente más que por su destreza física, por su destreza mental, el tipo tiene una capacidad de determinación impresionante, y aun cuando al principio todo empezó como una obsesión por alcanzar su meta y aplacar su dolor, logra tanto control sobre sí mismo para poder llevar a cabo perfectamente su plan, que es completamente admirable, esa capacidad de control mental no la tiene cualquiera, y dentro de todo es un buen ejemplo, por supuesto no queremos que la gente se vuelva asesina por ahí, pero si es un buen ejemplo de como una motivación que sea lo suficientemente grande te puede llevar a alcanzar la meta que tanto deseas. Así que si, él logró lo que quería, por muy difícil que fuera alcanzarlo, por eso lo admiro y además convirtió ese dolor en determinación sin dejar que el dolor lo destruyera. Por eso ¡me encantó!
Credibility, honestly the movie looked quite realistic, and I find it hard to see movies that are unrealistic with the plot, and even more when they mix reality and fantasy because they confuse me, in this case it was not like that, even when we have a character expert in self-defense and weapons handling, it is something that can be associated to his preparation, there is coherence in the character's appearance and the way he acts; in general throughout the film there is correlation between the scenes, and especially the action scenes look real, which I really like in an action movie, because when there is exaggeration of the acts I do not believe anything, and I lose interest, but this was not one of those cases.
Messages, believe it or not I also found messages in this movie even though it is an action movie and they are not characterized much by that, and the message I got here was the effect that greed can have, I loved how it is a true demonstration of what can generate in a person so much need for money; I started the movie trusting everyone and at the end I ended up realizing that I shouldn't have trusted anyone from the beginning, so yes! I did learn not to be so trusting of those who look like "good people" because greed for money can bring out the worst in every person and well, the other learnings about goals that I told you before and reminding myself that not everyone has something good inside of them. =/
The search for justice, I loved the fact that the main motivation of "H" is the search for justice, maybe at first it can be seen as revenge, but the truth is that no! it was simply a fact that went unpunished, and regardless of his relationship with what happened, in the end the character's redemption is achieved, for a pain that may not go away, but obviously it will make him feel better, or at least continue with his life and not just focus on that goal to continue it. In the end we see a character who does not recover his peace, and he was very clear that he was not going to recover it, but that was not what he was looking for, he was looking to replicate the pain he felt, in the bad guy of the movie and above all to make sure that what he did, he did not do it again, so for me this is justice.
Great cast, the movie has great actors besides Statham, we can see for example Andy Garcia, Scott Eastwood, Jeffree Donovan, Holt McAllany, among others, who all did an excellent job even if I do not detail it all in the review because if I would not take 5000 words, there were enough, but I particularly recognized those, oh! and a cameo by the singer Posh Malone hahaha, it was short, and he did not do bad I swear! XD.
- Credibilidad, honestamente se vio bastante realista la película, y miren que a mí me cuesta ver películas que son poco realistas con la trama, y más cuando mezclan la realidad y la fantasía porque me confunden, en este caso no fue así, aun cuando tenemos un personaje experto en defensa personal y en el manejo de armas, es algo que sí se puede asociar a su preparación, hay coherencia en el aspecto del personaje y la forma como actúa; en general a lo largo de la película hay correlación entre las escenas, y sobre todo las escenas de acción se ven reales, cosa que me gusta mucho en una película de acción, porque cuando hay exageración de los actos no me creo nada, y pierdo el interés, pero esta no fue una de esos casos.
- Mensajes, aunque no lo crean también encontré mensajes en esta película aunque es de acción y no se caracterizan mucho por eso, y el mensaje que conseguí aquí fue el efecto que puede llegar a tener la codicia, me encantó como es una verdadera demostración de lo que puede generar en una persona tanta necesidad del dinero; empecé la película confiando en todo el mundo y al final terminé dándome cuenta de que no debí confiar en nadie desde el principio, así que ¡sí! si aprendí a no ser tan confiada con los que lucen como "buenas personas" porque la codicia por el dinero puede sacar lo peor de cada persona y bueno, los otros aprendizajes sobre las metas que ya les dije anteriormente y recordarme a mí misma que no todo el mundo tiene algo bueno en su interior. =/
- La búsqueda de la justicia, me encantó el hecho de que la motivación principal de "H" sea la búsqueda de la justicia, tal vez en un principio se pueda ver como venganza, pero la verdad es que ¡no! sencillamente fue un hecho que quedó impune, e independientemente de la relación de él con lo que sucedió, al final se logra alcanzar la redención del personaje, por un dolor que tal vez no va a desaparecer, pero evidentemente lo hará sentir mejor, o por lo menos seguir con su vida y no solo centrarse en ese objetivo para poder continuarla. Al final vemos un personaje que no recupera su paz, y él estaba muy claro de que no la iba a recuperar, pero eso no era lo que él buscaba, él buscaba era replicar el dolor que él sintió, en el malo de la película y sobre todo asegurarse de que lo que hizo, no lo volviera a hacer, así que para mí esto es justicia.
- Gran reparto, la película cuenta con grandes actores además de Statham, podemos ver por ejemplo a Andy García, Scott Eastwood, Jeffree Donovan, Holt McAllany, entre otros, quienes realizaron todos un excelente trabajo aun cuando no lo detalle del todo en la review porque si no me tardaría 5000 palabras, fueron bastantes, pero yo en lo particular reconocí a esos, ¡ah! y un cameo del cantante Posh Malone jajaja, fue corto, y no lo hizo mal ¡se los juro! XD.
I really liked the movie! That's why I put it here, for everything I said above, so I do recommend it! And yes I would watch it again several times! So, if you like action thrillers with good acting, good script and good direction, you have to see it!
