Based on real events, this movie shows us the life of two famous tennis players, who together with their father fought to be the best, to show the world their potential, their courage, their strength, and most importantly, to reach that golden dream.
I am talking about the tennis players Serena and Venus Williams, two African-American girls, where from a very young age they practiced this sport, it was their parents who taught them and began to train them, turning them into experts, with every move, every serve, and every play.
In this film, we can see all this, from the beginning to the end, being her father, the most obsessed with this, devising the way to teach everyone, what his daughters can do, fighting against all the adversities that were presented to him, being his only goal, to make his daughters famous and recognized worldwide for their great talent in this game.
Here we have different scenarios, a selfless father, willing to do anything to turn his daughters into legends, applying contradictory methods, following a plan, which was drawn since they were small, to turn Serena and Venus, in these famous and legendary athletes.
Richard Williams, that was the name of the father of these young women, starred by the great actor Will Smit, I must confess that I like all his movies, the ones I enjoy the most are true stories, who does not remember his famous movie In Search of Happiness, undoubtedly a beautiful and thoughtful story.
Anyway, here, once again, he shows us a father, willing to do anything, for his family, for his daughters, fighting with the different opinions of others, this movie focused on showing us the work of this man, as a father, manager, and coach of his daughters, taking into account that this was a white game, and they were a large family of color.
Hence the name of the movie, THE Williams Method or King Richard, it shows us this plan, this method, created by this man, with the only intention of making his daughters the best in this game, keeping his humility and simplicity.
It must not be easy to recreate this type of story, because surely they must have the permission of those involved to tell their lives, as is the case of the father of these young tennis players, where we reflect a man focused on disciplining and turning his daughters into professional athletes, but at what price, I wonder, what they left to do and live just to fulfill the plan of his father.
There is a part in the movie where they ask the girls, what they want, because yes, we see how their father seeks by all means that they receive the best training, that they become the best tennis players, but is it his dream or theirs too?
They show us their desire to be professionals, that is why they follow or do everything their father tells them, all to please him, to fulfill his plan, a plan that led him to make decisions, in which not many understood or supported him, but those decisions, led them to what they are today.
This is a film that entertains you at every moment, with every scene, I will not say it is one of the best, but it certainly reflects different messages of tenacity, perseverance, discipline, and love.
Undoubtedly, this film is based more than anything on the girls' father, everything he planned to take his daughters to this level of professionalism, and rise in the world of tennis.
And this sport, like all sports, requires a lot of discipline, to be constant, demands a high level of precision, therefore, you must practice many times to achieve, progress and perfect your game.
This is where we could see how these young girls, Serena and Venus, were always practicing, either with their father, with their mother, even with professional coaches, which their father was in charge of getting them.
On the other hand, we cannot leave aside the performance of these two young girls, Saniyya Sidney (Venus) and Demi Singleton (Serena), first time I see them on stage, but they certainly managed to do a good role, embodying the role of tennis players.
A story full of drama, and composed by great actors, starting with Will Smitt, we can also see the performances of Tony Goldwyn (Paul Cohen) personifying one of the first coaches of the girls, in this case Venus, and Jon Bernthal (Rick Macci), another of their coaches, who was part of the training and life of these young women.
This film was directed by Reinaldo Marcus Greense, on the other hand, the tennis player Serena Williams, was also part of the production, we can imagine that she would be in charge of giving every detail of how her life was, and the method that her father applied to train them, and lead them to achieve their dreams.
But as I said at the beginning, at what price, these girls since they were little started with this sport, I imagine they did not have a quiet, normal childhood, but they fulfilled their dreams, what I liked, is that here they showed us the interest of their father to always maintain their humility above all.
If you are one of those who like these inspirational films, you will surely like it, because this is what it is about, to show everything that can be achieved if you set a fixed goal, and fight for it, until you reach it.
Una historia inspiradora, llena de muchas enseñanzas, la cual te muestra todo lo que puedes lograr si te trazas un buen plan, cumpliendo con cada detalle, a un alto precio, todo por demostrar cuánto vales ante el mundo y la sociedad.
Basada en hechos reales, esta película nos muestra la vida de dos famosas tenistas, las cuales junto con su padre lucharon por ser las mejores, en mostrarle al mundo su potencial, su valor, su fuerza, y lo más importante, el alcanzar ese sueño dorado.
Les hablo de las tenistas Serena y Venus Williams, dos chicas afroamericanas, donde desde muy pequeñas practicaban este deporte, fueron sus padres quienes las enseñaron y empezaron a entrenar, convirtiéndolas así en todas unas expertas, con cada movimiento, cada saque, y jugada.
En esta película, podemos ver todo esto, desde el principio hasta el final, siendo su padre, el más obsesionado con esto, ideando la forma para enseñarles a todos, lo que pueden hacer sus hijas, luchando contra todas las adversidades que se le presentaban, siendo su único objetivo, el hacer a sus hijas famosas y reconocidas mundialmente por su gran talento en este juego.
Aquí tenemos distintos escenarios, un padre abnegado, dispuesto a todo, por convertir a sus hijas, en leyendas, aplicando métodos contradictorios, siguiendo un plan, el cual se trazó desde que ellas eran pequeñas, para convertir a Serena y Venus, en estas deportistas famosas y legendarias.
Richard Williams, así se llamaba el padre de estas jóvenes, protagonizado por el gran actor Will Smit, debo confesar que a mí me gustan todas sus películas, las que más disfruto son de historias reales, quien no recuerda su famosa película en Busca de la Felicidad, sin duda una hermosa y reflexiva historia.
En fin, aquí una vez más, nos muestra un padre, dispuesto a todo, por su familia, por sus hijas, luchando con las distintas opiniones de los demás, esta película se centró en enseñarnos el trabajo de este hombre, como padre, manager, y entrenador de sus hijas, tomando en cuenta que este era un juego para blancos, y ellos eran una numerosa familia de color.
De allí el nombre de la película, EL Método Williams o King Richard, la misma nos muestra este plan, este método, creado por este hombre, con la única intención de hacer a sus hijas las mejores en este juego, manteniendo su humildad y su sencillez.
No debe ser fácil, recrear este tipo de historia, pues seguramente deben contar con el permiso de los involucrados para contar su vida, como es el caso del padre de estas jóvenes tenistas, donde nos reflejan un hombre enfocado en disciplinar y convertir a sus hijas en todas unas deportistas profesionales, pero a qué precio, me pregunto, que dejaron de hacer y vivir solo por cumplir con el plan de su padre.
Hay una parte en la película donde les preguntan a las chicas, que quieren, porque sí, vemos como su padre busca por todos los medios que ellas reciban el mejor entrenamiento, que sean las mejores tenistas, ¿pero es su sueño o el de ellas también?
Ellas nos muestran su deseo por ser profesionales, es por ello que siguen o hacen todo lo que su padre les dice, todo por complacerlo, por cumplir con su plan, un plan que lo llevo a tomar decisiones, en las cuales no muchos lo entendían o apoyaban, pero dichas decisiones, las llevaron a lo que son hoy en día.
Esta es una película que te entretiene en cada momento, con cada escena, no les voy a decir que es una de las mejores, pero sin duda nos refleja distintos mensajes, de tenacidad, perseverancia, disciplina, y amor.
Sin duda, este film, se basa más que todo en el padre de las chicas, todo lo que él planeó para llevar a sus hijas a este nivel por el profesionalismo, y ascenso en el mundo del tenis.
Y es que este deporte, como todos requiere de mucha disciplina, ser constantes, demanda un alto nivel en precisión, por ende, se debe practicar muchas veces para alcanzar, progresar y perfeccionar su jugada.
Aquí es donde podíamos ver, cómo estas jóvenes niñas, Serena y Venus, siempre estaban practicando, ya sea con su padre, con su madre, hasta con entrenadores profesionales, los cuales su padre se encargó de conseguirles.
Por otra parte, no podemos dejar aún lado la actuación de estas dos jóvenes, Saniyya Sidney (Venus) y Demi Singleton (Serena), primera vez que las veo en escena, pero que sin duda lograron hacer un buen papel, personificando el papel de las tenistas.
Una historia llena de drama, y compuesta por grandes actores, empezando por Will Smitt, también podemos ver las actuaciones de Tony Goldwyn (Paul Cohen) personificando a uno de los primeros entrenadores de las chicas, en este caso el de Venus, y Jon Bernthal (Rick Macci), otro de sus entrenadores, que formo parte del entrenamiento y en la vida de estas jóvenes.
Esta película fue dirigida por Reinaldo Marcus Greense, por otra parte, la tenista Serena Williams, también formo parte de la producción, podemos imaginar que se encargaría de dar cada detalle, de cómo fue su vida, y el método que aplico su padre, para formarlas, y llevarla a alcanzar sus sueños.
Pero como dije al principio, a que precio, estas niñas desde pequeñas empezaron con este deporte, me imagino no tuvieron una infancia tranquila, normal, pero cumplieron sus sueños, lo que me gusto, es que aqui nos mostraron el interes de su padre de que siempre mantuvieran su humildad ante todo.
Si eres de los que les gustan estas películas inspiradoras, seguro te va a gustar, pues de esto se trata, de demostrar todo lo que puede lograr si te pones una meta fija, y luchas por ella, hasta alcanzarla.
