Attack on Titan - A Rollercoaster of Emotions, Ready For Tommorrow's Episode???

Maaan, Season 4 has been with all the UPS and DOWNS. I don't really know how to feel about it anymore. The ending was spoiled for me, so I just went with the series, but DAMN didn't know it would be so good. Actually, let's go a little while back when it all started...

Some background

AoT has been one of the greatest animes out there. From when it came out,
it captivated many and it was among the Top 10 - somewhere besides the GOATs like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brother Hood or Steins;Gate. Season 2 took an awfully long time to come out - around 4 years maybe??? Then there were season 3 and 4 each consisting of 2 parts. And BOY they all came out one after another.

Recently

I don't feel like watching anything and I put the ongoing series and my watchlist for too long that I end up not watching anything for weeks at all.

Until this one day, a normal day of me scrolling Instagram, I see a spoiler post about AoT season 3 - which is on my watchlist but isn't completely out yet. It piques my curiosity and I'm back on track - even tho the ending was spoiled for me... I firmly believe that the way a story unfolds is pretty important as well and THAT's the part AoT excels at... it might get a bit overwhelming at first, but it all starts to make sense when you let it sink and digest it all.

I'd try to keep this post as spoiler-free as possible as to not ruin the pleasure of discovery for anyone. So here we go...

My overview of AoT's Last Season (Part 1 and 2)

Following my unusual watching pattern, I ended up watching both Season parts and the first part of Season 4 together. The transition from Season 3 to 4 was hella weird, I felt like I was watching something entirely different and to be honest, it was a dank experience, heck, I even dropped the season midway for a couple of days. The genre-switch was unbearable... I came for supernatural, mystery, titan and suddenly for a couple of episodes there was non of that... the MC was nowhere to be found and it was WEIRD.

A couple of episodes later and it all made sense, but still no sense of MYSTERY anymore... until we hit the end of season and there was some plot building up - don't get me wrong tho, it was all amazing, as I said before, Isayama's way of storytelling is just superb, no doubt about that... but there was something off. Maybe it was me who was picky at the moment.

NOW there's the second part and it was beyond my expectations. So much is happening and so many things that seemed to make no sense in the previous season are actually starting to converge somewhere and are becoming more clear. And to top it off, that cliffhanger at the end was LEGENDARY... I can't really wait to see what's gonna happen in the next episode... and as you can see, I'm once again trapped in the cliffhanger cycle of hell till this series is over xD

Also, let's not forget this legendary scene from the first episode xD
I think I'm gonna be a great censorist

Conclusion

I'm a sucker for action animes with cool art plus great animation and AoT hits the spot. If you haven't watched it yet, I'd HIGHLY recommend you jump in on the hype train and follow along - after all it's the last season. And if you've never watched AoT at all, oh boi, you're missing a lot of fun and amazing plot twists beyond imagination. I pretty much guess many of the plot twists of movies or tv series I watch, but AoT is just on a whole another level - the lore and plot are THICC.
