RE: Working from home

I was 21 when I got my first job. My performance was based on the performance of my colleagues. Usually, they wanted to do just enough. Avoid any excessive work.
I didn't understand this at that time but now I know why we all felt so insecure in our jobs.
We were working for the paycheck. Not to provide any value to the company or to build our skills.

Then, in 2017, I started a business with one of my friends. He had an insane work ethic. I could never keep up.
We employed a few people. And then I understood how you should do your job. Learn. Deliver more value. And you will never have to worry about employment opportunities.
Good employees are very hard to find and keep.

Now, I usually work on my own. Earn a little less but I have more time to develop skills. I am doing okay.

What I learned is if you run a business, and work with people who have good work ethics, you can survive anywhere— corporate jobs, freelance work, online business or work from home. It's all about ingraining those work ethics in yourself. 🙂
