Mother's Love: The Embodiment of Peace

The love of a mother is as calm as water which is surrounded by sand in a desert during stormy weather.

This love is not sentiment or passion but love in its profoundest sense which is intrinsic to life. The love of a mother starts from when the child is still unborn and is eternal to protect the child like a Butterfly.

This could be due to the fact that only a mother knows about love that does not come with strings attached. However, the love of a mother will always be constant and is not easily swayed by such issues.

It is this constancy which helps children to feel safe and not being troubled by fears and concerns. Amid social disturbances, economic crises, and other sorts of uncertainties, only the mother’s love for her child remains invulnerable. This is the home that opens doors open for any child even when he or she totally lost and confused.

Selfless love is also true; there are times especially as a mother that what you want or need takes precedence over the children. This selflessness comes from the purest form of altruism there is which is; the desire of a mother for her children.

The hours one looses in sleep, the anxieties one has, the sacrifices that one makes, all these are made with love. This is where one can see how much the mother loves and cares for her child in so small gestures that matter.

Her care is a type if strength as she raises her children end empowers them for life as she fosters them to be ready for the world.

However, the peace a mother brings is not another plane of existence but the psychological aspect of life of her child. It is helpful for children in establishment of meaningful identity and feeling of belonging.

This means that once children are made to feel like they are accepted and loved, especially in their state they are, they have the assurance of their identity. This internal harmony enables them to deal with affairs in life with might and blast.

Moreover, being a mother love develops tender qualities of a person, including empathy and compassion. Noting that she is just and cares for others, children have an understanding of the value of loving people.

This is true, as the first lessons that a child receives in his life regarding humanism and mercy come from a woman or a mother figure.

But even when in miseries and in darkness of troubles, there is always beauty of a mother’s love. The words said, the hugs and just presence for the hurting person emerge as strength for the said person.

Even if she did not stay with them physically to look for them or provide for them, the love that a mother gives is imparted.

Hence, to focus on the part, the mother’s love is peace. It is a dawn in the middle of a calm sea, a shelter in a storm of life’s events. It feeds, shields, and raises – it transforms those who are fortunate enough to experience it and who do not forget it for the rest of their lives.
