Привіт! Монета присвячена першій церкві, що була побудована з каменю на території Русі. Вона введена в обіг 26 листопада.
Вага виробу складає 33.59 г, а діаметр — 38.6 мм. Для допису “Серія монет “Духовні скарби України”: срібло, Десятинна церква, номінал 20 гривень, 1996 рік” використано дві світлини з офіційного сайту Національного банку України. Монета має рифлений гурт. Фактичний тираж склав 5 тисяч штук.
Реверс. В нижній частині нанесено назву серії, угорі — самої монети та напис Київ. Останній відділяє від назви зображення птаха. В центрі нанесено зображення історичного храму.
Лицьова сторона. В центрі нанесено зображення Богоматері Одигітрії. Під ним викарбувано рік — 1996, а навколо — рослинний орнамент. Угорі розташовані національні символи, внизу — номінал. Поруч з цифрою 20 вказано назву металу, вагу й пробу.

Greetings! The coin is dedicated to the first church built of stone on the territory of Russia. It was put into circulation on November 26.
The weight of the product is 33.59 g, and the diameter is 38.6 mm. Two photos from the official website of the National Bank Ukraine. The coin has a fluted band. The actual circulation was 5 thousand pieces.
Reverse. The name of the series is printed in the lower part, the coin itself and the inscription Kyiv are printed at the top. The latter separates the image of the bird from the name. In the center is an image of a historical temple.
Front side. In the center is an image of Our Lady Hodigitria. The year 1996 is engraved under it, and there is a floral ornament around it. The national symbols are located at the top, the denomination is at the bottom. Next to the number 20 is indicated the name of the metal, weight and sample.
