Introduction to this weeks page

When i began making the pages for this comic, 93 pages ago, I just let the story develop freely and wildly without any thought of tomorrow. Now things has to be done slightly different even though I haven't given up on throwing in whatever idiosyncratic, whimsical idea I please. But the process has changed, so even though I have let stories within stories come to life and invented new characters in an already crowded story, I still have to get after them like a border collie reigning in a flock of brainless sheep. Things have to develop and stories has to be completed.

This page consist of some of the CIA progress in trying to catch our friends, but then it breaks off and let Eileen tell a story that was never really completed: the story about Eleanor Knight. On this page we get to follow Eleanor to her grave, and we also get to understand the dominant and slightly crazy High priestess, Gwendolyn, a little better. I am very pleased with the last frame, and I also learned something new while drawing it: If you want to draw a teenage girl, give her very thin legs.

Happy reading.
