With the great success of the Hivebuzz Hive Power Up Day on the first of every month and with great prizes to be had if a Hive user powers up on the first of the month, there are now plans for a Blanchy's Hive Power Down Day Initiative to happen at the end of each month. During this day the awards will be given out to any account that powers down the most. The plan is to interview the user that has powered down and points will be given to the most dramatic power down. People power down for many reasons so Hive Power Down whether it is being a broke ass, nagger, not a fan of Hive anymore or a disagreement, we don't judge. Blanchy's Power Down Initiative will award as follows. Please note that the prizes will be given in liquid Hive so the user can just add that to their withdrawal amount when they do decide to get out of Dodge.
+10 points are given if the user has been around since Steem but has become wary whether Hive is going to go anywhere. This is the most common powerdown on Hive at the moment. Users should send a photo around a time when they commented "When SMT's?" under a Ned Scott post.
+20 points are given to the naggers and conspiracy theorists account that has powered down due to constantly getting downvoted by whales. Blanchy's Powerdown Initiative looks kindly on these users. They can't touch your liquid Hive that you win my little annoying thin foil helmet wearing pal!.
+50 points are awarded to broke asses who have powered down to feed their family or pay their rent. Magic internet money has come to their rescue and got them out of a hole. They remain active in the community until they have their next emergency and due to bad planning and compulsive gambling on crypto , there always is a next emergency. But at Blanchy's powerdown monthly initiative we think gambling is fun but we still want you to feed your baby so this is looked very kindly on. A photo of malnourishment will go some way to winning the monthly prize.
+50 points. We are awarding 50 points for the any migrants who used their Hive Power to make the move to Europe. It is a better life here and the money is good. And what better way to pay the burly guy in front of the shipping container who takes your passport than with your rewards from Hive Power Down Day. An extra $20 in liquid Hive can get you a peephole and peehole. Which ever way you want to do it. Why not powerdown more and buy a life jacket? A photo in the shipping container would be favourable but save your battery and just send us a picture of the dingy on the other side.
+100 points Tantrums. 100 points are awards to powerdown tantrums that are caused when the Hive user becomes disillusioned by the blockchain and are frustrated around the lack of progress in Hive since it became a "decentralised". They lay their cards out on the table and hit the powerdown button. They will not leave however and will probably cancel their powerdown once they get a few comments such as "U OK hun?" on their posts. But the tantrum powerdown is one of the best powerdowns so we award it handsomely.
+100 points Scams: We are awarding 100 points to any accounts that are powering down after obtaining most of their Hive Power through fund raising scams that promised an ROI in the future to users but decided rug pull and withdraw the funds instead for their own benefit. That is against the law you say? Imagine heading to a police station and explaining to some police man around the the inner workings of Hive. Blanchy's Power Down Initiative does not judge. Those people were fools in the first place for thinking your snakes & ladders/ludo/bridge / trading card game was going to take off in the first place. You go lie on your hammock and maybe you will win a nice prize. We still love you and it will all blow over.
- +150 points cute whores are awarded to the cute whores (as we call them in Ireland) who power down so they can buy something nice from their rewards rather than risking the token doing down in the future when Binance makes up its mind to finally take it off their exchange. Whereas the fantasists who predict Hive will go to $10 and this will happen just b'cause, the cute whores are cashing in Hive and buying something nice out of their hard earned rewards.
