Hello everyone, I hope you all will be ok today.
Today I brought you a great visiting story about my early trip to the most beautiful places of Pakistan where more than 80% of foreigners visit every year. Yes, I am talking about Gilgit Baltistan where the beautiful valleys like Skardu, Hunza, Naltar Valley, Babusar Top, chellas, Hussaini Suspension bridge, pasu Cones, and at the end China Border.
So let's get started.
It was 22 July 2021 we set off from our home city swabi round about 6 AM I with my brother and 3 cousins, on the way we got some fruits, some ice for cooling water and some other important stuffs with our selves.
Going through road, the distance between swabi and gilgit baltistan is about 502 kilo meters, if you are going from Islamabad side or from Peshawar side there is a singe road to gilgit, you will go through motorway to manshera and from there the GT road starts. Going to hunza, after 245kms the beautiful place arrives, and its name is NARAN KAGHAN where more than 60% of people visit on weekends. It has such a good beauty and famous for beautiful places, like saiful malook jheel and many more places, the weather is cold now in naran and feels 10 to 16 degrees in summers and winters it reached to -15.
As you go up from naran the temperature starts to get down and even goes to minus in summers, after 1.5 hours the top arrives, which is called babusar top and is famous for cold weather and beautiful landscapes. Babusar top is located on 13700 FT where you will freez if the wind starts to breeze. After babusar top we reached to a valley called chellas where the temperature was 30 Degrees, and it was about 9PM and in chillas mobile networks are too slow due to covering of mountains all around. We decided to go to the valley where the weather was pleasant but what happened on our way is we faced landsliding(this is main problem there, if you face landslide you will wait until the road is cleaned, and they make sure that the road is now safe. So we have waited about 5 hours on the road, and it was like 3 to 400 cars keeping a line behind us, after this dangerous time we reached to the valley where we want to stay, and it was 1AM. We did nothing, we just slept.
Next Morning we got up at 7AM and set off to SKARDU. This name will be heard by everyone even Around the world, the road was not Cement road but was ok after a journey of 5 hours (171Kms) we reached to skardu Resort, Which is of course one of the beautiful place of GILGIT BALTISTAN.
This place is called Shangri-La Resort and situated in skardu, you must have to visit here if you got a chance to visit gilgit. After two hours of roaming and taking pictures we sett off for Upper kachura lake which is situated right behind of Shangri-La resort and will take about 15 minutes to reach there.
we ate some food for refreshment there and went on boat to explore kachura lake, after visiting all around the lake we again took our car and started our journey toward our next stop which was gilgit baltistan. Reaching at 1AM to gilgit baltistan we stayed in a hotel. Next day and 2nd day after our break fast we started to our journey to our next stops, the first place was Attabad lake, and it was now HUNZA. Attabad Lake. Born from a catastrophe, Attabad Lake is known for its crystal blue water and captivating aura.
Done with atabad lake we set off for next place which was the most awaited place and is called hussaini suspension bridge, known for the most dangerous bridge in the world, the Hussaini Hanging Bridge is only one of many precarious rope bridges in Northern Pakistan. If you want to cross the bridge, you will get ticket to cross the bridge just right up on the most dangerous river ever in Pakistan.
It is the most dangerous bridge ever in the world, because if you fall down you are dead. But our team decided to cross it at any cost, and so we did it.
This photo was taken by my brother while we were crossing the bridge and are approx are at the end of the bridge. Many people don't want to cross the bridge due to its hanging and fast wind while you are crossing the bridge, it may cause you to low your BP and fell down. They simply say Go on your own risk, the management is not responsible for any casualties. Now, after getting so much time here at the bridge, we went on our way and the most beautiful valley of hunza arrived which is named PASU CONES. Its name indicated that the mountains are in the shape of CONES, See the picture below
So it was our last place to see, but I has not included many places in here and did not talk about it due to allowance of uploading only 10 photos here, But next time I will cover all these missing places
