Magic, joy, carols, thousands of Christmas lights in the Christmas Market in Arad County, Romania
Hello hivers from around the world
In Romania, as in other cities of the world, December is a special month full of magic, light, carols and the joy of bringing the whole family together.
This month we strive to learn to be better, to learn to give more than we have done so far, to try to bring joy to children's faces and to give beautiful gifts to our families.
I know some of you may correct me and say that we have to do good deeds all year round not just in December, yes I agree with you, but still we have to see beyond the minuses and at least once a year try to bring joy in our home but also in other homes.
At least here in my commune, sometime after mid-December, an event is organized where the inhabitants of the commune are invited together with their families, an event that will end with the handing out of gifts to all the children present at the event.
I tried to make an introduction to the holiday atmosphere and to go further by showing you the experience I had at the Christmas market in Arad County.
I have to admit even though this fair is in my county, I live about half an hour away by car, I haven't really visited this fair in recent years, I know it's not a nice gesture, but instead I visited other Christmas markets in Europe.
A Christmas market I think brings people together, not just to admire the thousands of colourful lights or to buy gifts or different dishes.
The market takes place somewhere in the centre of the county near the 0 km of the city.
Let's start discovering the city to see how it was dressed in festive clothes, on this day being also a working day the boulevard was quite crowded and I was curious to see how crowded is the Christmas market.
Let's see how the stage in front of the Arad County Hall looks like, with a beautiful tree and other attractions.
The centre of Arad County shows us these buildings with amazing architecture, I hope to have time sometime and do a post about the historical buildings of the county.
We leave the square in front of the town hall and walk a few hundred meters along the boulevard to the back of the theatre in Arad, where there are those little shops selling just about everything you can think of.
I give you a piece of advice when you decide to visit these fairs not to go there when you are hungry, I thought I wanted to buy everything, even if I didn't need it (here I mean food and sweets).
I taste a lot of products and can't seem to get enough.
The first time I bought several hundred grams of roasted pork skin.
And some pork dishes, hehe.
I also had some candy, did I taste too much?
Dear friends, my visit to the Christmas Market in Arad has come to an end, I'm sorry that I took the first pictures around 1.00 p.m. and the ones from the fair a few hours later, when the sun was already gone from the sky and the light was not the best.
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone, and the text is also designed by me.
