Sada Pathor - A Place of Beauty in Sylhet.

Welcome everyone to see my new post. Today I will share my tour blog with you and its about my trip to Sylhet and today, I'll talk about a place of beauty of Sylhet which is Sada Pathor. Hope you'll like it.

Sada Pathor is called after white stone where sada=white and pathor=stone. There are mostly white stones, thousands of them in there below the Indian hills.

It took us about 10 minutes to reach there from one side to anther by the boat ride. We all got off the boat very carefully.

After going there, I saw only white colored rocks and stones around though there were some other colored stones as well. There were green hills of India in front of this place.

As far as the eye could see, only rocks, clear blue water in the middle, blue sky above and green mountains embracing the clouds are like a wonderful paradise of nature.

It is surrounded by several small hills. Apart from this, there is green nature around. The waterfall coming down from the hill has joined the river. Thanks to my husband that he gave me some photos from his drone footage to use in this blog.

There were good seating arrangements for tourists. We spent some time sitting there. During this period there is a lot of water. River water was flowing along the sides of the mountains. We went down to this river. Many other tourists like us went down this river. I had a lot of fun going down the river. We all drenched everyone with water.

There were small rooms for changing clothes. Tourists can change their wet clothes there. We all went to these rooms and changed the wet clothes. Also, there was a good arrangement to keep the necessary items for tourists in lockers. We rented a locker from there. We kept our essentials in that locker before going down to the river. I liked this arrangement.

We spent about 2 hours there. We took many beautiful pictures there. While returning from this place I took a small stone. That stone is now decorated in our room. This stone is very precious to me as a memory.

After that we all boarded the boat to return from there having enjoyed a lot. Some people also boarded the boat with us. Anyway, I was very excited when I came back because the place was really beautiful. I want to visit this beautiful place again and hope to visit again sometime.

Finally it was time to get off the boat. It took us about 10-15 minutes to get back. Then we all reached this place. I got off the boat very carefully because I was quite tired. There were many kinds of shops. We went to the shops there to do some shopping.

There were different kinds of things in the shops. I saw almost all kinds of essentials for children and adults in the shops. This store had some plastic guns for kids and some toys of a different type.

There were many pickles in this same store. These pickles were of different types and these had different flavors. I tasted a few pickles and bought a few pickles from there. Those who were with us also bought these pickles. You will notice that there are some caps on the side of the pickles. These caps looked very nice and I bought a cap from there.

I went to another store and saw many different types of things in this store. There were many types of chocolates and I selected a few from them. There were many types of biscuits and these biscuits were of different flavors. I saw some kinds of tea bags in this shop but I couldn't buy them because my husband said it is not good to buy them from here. Although I bought tea packets from my next destination and will share that story with you in my next post.

After that we all bought some kind of things from this shop. The prices of things in these shops were very high so we bought them at bargain prices. My husband bought two types of ointments from a nearby shop and one was for headache and the other was for body pain. These were very useful things and they worked very well. After finishing our shopping, I went to visit the nearby side of the place.

After standing at this place for some time, I suddenly saw this rainbow. The rainbow was beautiful to see from a distance and it seemed to merge with the sky from the mountains. My husband then said that the rainbow is more visible in this place because it is much higher.

I saw this rainbow after a long time so I was very happy to see it. I also took a picture with this rainbow to remember. This scene was much more beautiful in reality than the phone picture. Standing by the river and seeing this beautiful scene, I felt a lot of peace even though there was a lot of wind.

A warning signboard was posted at this place. This place was the last border of our country. So this signboard is very essential for travelers. The international border is at the end of this place so travelers are requested not to cross that place. Although there were many tourist police to warn the travelers.

But one thing I found very sad was that there was a lot of garbage thrown in this place. As a result, it is a major reason for spoiling the beauty and environment of this place. So I think the police there should be more alert so that travelers don't litter there. This is how we will maintain this beautiful environment. I think if nature is beautiful we will be better.

I really enjoyed visiting this place. We were there almost from noon to afternoon. Then it was time to go back to our hotel. Because it will be almost night to go to the hotel so we were planning to return from there.

We had CNG at this place so we went to this place and stopped for a while. Standing there and seeing the mountains from a distance, I was getting emotional again. The hills looked dark green in the distance. The white-blue clouds above and dark green mountains below are really amazing.

Then we boarded the CNG from this place to head to the hotel. There was another warning sign for travelers on the side of the road when I went. It was written there that India is ahead so no person or vehicle can cross this border through that road.

Then our CNG very carefully crossed this place and went ahead. On the way back to the hotel it rained a lot and we all got wet. It took about 2 hours to reach our hotel.
