A julbord is a traditional Scandinavian feast or banquet that is typically enjoyed during the Christmas season. The word julbord comes from the Swedish language and literally means "Christmas table." The julbord originally belonged to Christmas itself, meaning that it was enjoyed during the period starting on Christmas Day and continuing onwards. Today, however, many people enjoy julbords outside of this timeframe. For example, employers or organisations will often host a julbord for their employees or members. No matter when you enjoy a julbord, it is sure to be a festive and enjoyable experience!
A group of us from the office went out for a corporate Christmas dinner at Cuisine La Grand, a Lebanese restaurant in Stockholm. The food was absolutely amazing! We had a variety of Lebanese dishes, and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. The atmosphere was really festive and everyone had a great time. We got to know each other better and laughed a lot while we were served an amazing meal.
We talked about a variety of topics during the meal including our favourite Christmas traditions, what we were doing for the holidays this year, and what our New Year's resolutions were. It was a great opportunity to get to know my colleagues better and to bond over our shared love of food!
The Meze starters were absolutely fantastic - they were well-prepared and had great presentations. The grill mix was perfectly okay.
I was really looking forward to the dessert because I had heard so much about it. But It was just a piece of filo dough with ice cream on top.
I would have liked to see a real piece of baklava on the menu. But overall, this is a great restaurant that I would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet dining experience.
