Once we all arrived at the meeting point, we started the route to our destination. It is a route of approximately 9 kilometers by road and inland river.
Once we left the road, we went into the river. As it was the dry season, the river did not show its usual flow; however, the small wells and minor waterfalls served to refresh us with their sweetness and sound.
The stones slowed our progress, but that gave a more pleasant and adventurous touch to our journey. At some points it was necessary to help each other to climb huge rocks to reach the goal.
The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the place or the experience.
Upon arriving at the waterfall, and after having some breakfast, I let myself be baptized by the cold waters of the Taracoa River and enjoy the unique sensation of being in full contact with nature.
