Hello there! It's my 7th post in the new World Map Pin community! Trying to do the tag as well! If you haven't read about them, please take a look at this link.
As background, I have done a few overseas trips last year, as some of my friends here would know, and I have been wanting to share some of the interesting places that I have visited. However, life has been busy and I have been procrastinating penning these entries and recently, I revisited this target of mine and finally broke the inertia!
One of my memorable trips in 2023 was to Tokyo, Japan, and during that trip, I did quite a few day trips to nearby cities and towns. Earlier this year, I wrote about visiting the peaceful Karuizawa, the scenic Atami, the nature in Nikko and the zen Kamakura. Then we went to the magical place which was Warner Bros Studio Tour aka The Making Of Harry Potter in Tokyo! For this post, we continue our studio tour in this huge building!
We left the Quidditch interaction area and the place turned dark as we viewed more familiar sights of Hogwarts.
Lots of interesting exhibits and lots of potions on display!
Be careful! Am sure you know who this is! Hehe!
As we reached the end of the section, there's also another interactive session where visitors can get to participate in a show. Time to cast your spell!
Next up, we proceeded to the Forbidden Forest! I was really impressed with how real the exhibits look and it felt as though I was in the movie. The lights were dim and it was a little scary at times too!
Enter at your risk!
You have been warned!
Last chance to back out now...
Oh! A screen! The Dementors are here!
Let us fight! Yay we succeeded!
And you thought everything was fine? Runnnnnnnnn....
And we made it out of the Forbidden Forest... Look it's Hagrid's Hut!
With that, that's all for my sharing for the magical Harry Potter Studio Tour Part 3. :P
As someone who has read all the books in the series, and watched all the movies in the theatres, it was indeed a joyful experience to relive some of these memories and better understand how some of the stuff happened behind the scenes. I liked that they had many interactive segments such as shows, activities, where visitors can roleplay some of the bits of the movie. The studio was much bigger than what I expected so buckle up for more exciting stuff later on!
Let me know in the comments if you have been here too, and what are your thoughts about this place?
Finally, thanks for reading my post in the community under World Map Pin! More to come I promise! :)
P.S. I have also tried to document my posts in one table so it's easy to reference too!
