Trekking in Himlayas

Hello Everyone, I hope all of you are fine and enjoying your life.
It's been a very long time since I posted anything on this platform as I was busy somewhere.
Now straight come to the story last week I visited The Himalayas with some friends, covering a distance of 580 km in 12 hours to reach the remote village in the Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh.

This state is the house of many rivers and is also called God's abode. We left our hometown at 3 in the morning and reached the detention at around 3 in the afternoon. we took a few halts just for breakfast and then a couple of halts to enjoy the scenic views.

Beas River en route Tirthan valley

Our destination is a small village near the river called Tirthan and the place lies in Tirthan valley cause of the same river.

The weather was so soothing and cold that as we stepped out of our car we felt like we need some woolen pullovers.
As a traveler, we always want some adventure and this place is full of adventure.

Forest Rest House

We took permission from the Forest department for one of the treks called Trek to The Great Himalayan National Park. which is around 14 km long up and down.

But before that trek, we were hell tired from the journey of 12 hours and hungry too. We ate some noodles and Thupka (Which is a local dish having noodles in soup).

And then moved to our room which we rented in a nearby resort cum hotel and then woke up at 9 on the right when the hotel owner knocked on our door for dinner.

Our Rooms

After that, we spend the whole in chatting and messing with each other.

The next morning, we had to head toward the trek at around 8 as our guide was waiting for us. Trekking in the GHNP one needs a guide, otherwise, you will not be allowed inside the park.
We were late by 2 hours as we woke up late and spend some time playing with the dogs of the Hotel owner.

The Treks was very beautiful. we were accompanied by the Tirthan river on our journey.

We encountered a lot of small villages, shops (many were closed), and water streams.

Our speed was pretty good in that it took us 1 hour and 40 mins to reach our destination despite of we took many halts for photography and Videography. (If Anyone wants to see the videos you can follow me on my Youtube channel)

There wAs a small waterfall having Turquoise water. we set on the rocks in the river and chilled out for more than half an hour and meditate for a couple of minutes.

A splash of cold water from the fall and the sun's rays makes the place like heaven inside the park.

There is a wide variety of Flora and fauna. We saw different flowers and birds.

Our guide told us that this is the ecozone so you can't see a lot of animals here. Animals live in the core zone and for that, we had to trek for more than 3 days but neither we had that much time nor we had permission for that. So we decided to return.

Inside The Park

En route to our hotel, we found a person shouting down from the valley and saw that he slipped from the cliff and was there for more than an hour. Our guide and 2 more local people came to rescue him and he was out after half an hour's struggle. He was injured bleeding from his head, knees, and hands. We gave him water to drink.

The locals called the other person for help to take him to a nearby hospital and we left for our destination.

We spend another day there exploring the valley, which ill tell you about later.
