About thirty six kilometres east of Brisbane Central Business District is the Victoria Point foreshore. They have added a big shopping centre and a lot of new housing over the years in this area but the foreshore is still pretty quiet and sleepy with lots of older beach houses.
There is a bit of sand when the tide is out and it is a great spot for a walk or run.

@consciouscat spotted this galah resting in this magnificent tree hollow. This cheeky bird only came out to watch us walk past them disappeared back into the hole.
The Google map of our short beach front walk at Les Moore Park. There is plenty more beautiful coast line to experience, next time we will have to bring the bicycles down.
After the walk we decided on an early dinner, Grilled is one of our favourite Vegan burger restaurants.
There a little more expensive than the usual fast food establishments but much better tasting and healthy.
