It was not possible without on arrival visa! Yes talking about the tour to the beautiful Nepal, I do not even know about the trip about a month ago! Suddenly I got a call and we decided to go somewhere!
Though the first destination was Thailand but gradually it has changed into Nepal.
Our flight was delayed about an hour due to long take-off queue and we were sweating due to excessive heat in the runway.
The Sky was not that clear to get a good view of the himalayas from our aircraft but I've seen it and could imagine how huge the range is!
Locals said the best views they get during November & December!
Finally we have reached Kathmandu at 3pm in the afternoon. We had plan to visit Chandragiri Hill which had to cancel due to late flight.
Our tiredness gone while we got out and took a taxi to the Thamel. From Tribhuvan International Airport to Thamel we hired a taxi which costs 1000 Nepali rupees and it was expensive as Thamel just 6km away and taxi was not air-conditioned.
If you want have enough time please take a Bus ride or hire a taxi on the highway (out of airport) it would be 50% less!
We have arrived at Thamel and couldn't find the hotel for a while so we have decided to have our late lunch at 3.30pm at a very beautiful restaurant.
We got lucky to stop at the restaurant as we were wondering around! Actually we passed the hotel twice as it was inside a narrow passage which connected with a parallel road!
As we stopped at "Gauchan Thakali Kitchen" we thought let's forget the hotel for a while and have a good lunch break. We had no idea what to eat so ordered common "Thali" and as we know Momos are famous in Nepal so ordered some veg-momo.
As we were thirsty we ordered cold coffee as well; it was awesome one and the food was good as well.

About 10 minutes after ordering the food we found some familiar faces we meet in the plane! Who knows they also unable to find their hotel as well.
The best one I guess was the nodules here! If you are vegetarian or like to find halal food this veg option always there for you. I would recommend this restaurant whoever like to visit Thamel.
After Lunch my uncle asked me to call an uber and I refused as the hotel about 500 meter away and we have no rush as our stomach fully loaded and it was about time to visit this little town.
I ask my uncle and cousin to have a walk and they agreed.
The hotel was not far but they don't have any big signboard or any kind of visible indication so that people could easily find them though there rooms are way more better my uncle expected. We had to take a little nap for rest of the evening.
In the evening we went out to see the city which I would explain in detail at my next post.
