It seems like I've often posted about Lake Toba. The story about Lake Toba will never end because every day there are more and more new things and places that we can visit. Just imagine, Lake Toba, which is the second largest lake in Southeast Asia, passes through many cities and districts and every city and district that passes through Lake Toba continues to improve and beautify itself until now there are lots of new places worth visiting on the lake Toba.
And 1 week won't be enough to go around Lake Toba, because there are too many tourist attractions on Lake Toba and other districts that are also enchantingly beautiful. You will definitely be confused about which one you should visit first. Visitors to Lake Toba are not only local residents or Indonesians, but many foreign tourists also appear at this place. and because of this, local residents have started looking for new opportunities and livelihoods, not only gardening and farming, but have shifted to the realm of tourism by managing Lake Toba.
What I regret about the continued development of Lake Toba is that the entry fees for tourist attractions are expensive and the local population is so materialistic that I feel it is a loss to spend money to enjoy this beauty, even though in several districts such as Silalahi District which has very good views and the money can be entered it is said to be free because we only pay Rp. 5000- Rp. 10,000 for vehicle parking. And you are free to enjoy the very enchanting views.
However, because I have often been to this place, I feel like enjoying the view of Lake Toba from a different direction and of course it is free to visit because this place is not yet managed by local residents. And the place I went to was also near Silalahi Regency, precisely in the Sitongging area. In this place there is a harbor and a cool photo spot enjoying Lake Toba and of course it's free. The mountain breeze brings coldness to the body and the view of the mountain itself. It feels like we will never get bored while we are here. And why do I like this lake compared to the sea? Because this lake has fresh water, not salty, so when I shower my body doesn't get sticky. And if you like fishing in Lake Toba, there are lots of fresh fish that you can catch. Don't worry if you don't bring the equipment, because in this place there are many traders or local residents who rent complete fishing equipment according to your needs at low prices. And you can negotiate the rates daily or hourly.
There are many good spots that are still hidden on Lake Toba and there are still many that have not been managed by local residents, but if you don't have a vehicle here and want to explore Lake Toba without a private vehicle, it is very difficult, because there is no public transportation here.
