This morning, we went to Point Au Roche State Park for an educational program. This park is in Beekmantown, New York, along the northwestern shore of Lake Champlain. I was really impressed with the Nature Center they have for kids. After the kids' program, we took a peaceful walk on one of the trails. After that, we went to the beach area that has a playground. It is one of the most scenic parts of the park. Some of the trees along the coast were changing color, and we could see the Adirondack mountains in the distance. Throughout the park, some of the trees are at peak foliage and the colors were a striking gradient of yellow and red.
