Hello dear Hivers! It's me again, and for today's blog as I went to bohol I'm going to with you my experiences when we had our second day in Bohol, we went to different places with its unique beauty and activities. So without further ado, let's get started.
Our second day in Bohol was in a rush since we needed to be at the port of Getafe by 9 pm so that we would not be late for the second trip back to Cebu. So as early as 8 am, we are all ready to go. We are going to visit 4 tourist spots in Bohol.
Our first destination was at Bet 'n Choy Farm and Resort located at Catigbian, Bohol. I was amazed by the pool as a person who loves the pool and beaches however we came for the animals so I was not given the chance to swim in the pool. Also, as per the caretaker when asked, there were only a few animals left inside so we decided to visit our next destination instead.
As we headed to Kinaiyahan, I could not stop but admire the color green hills of Chocolate Hills since it was my first time seeing them personally, just bypassing the road and heading to our destination you can also see the Chocolate Hills near you. The wide land where the hills are located was breathtaking, and you could tell that it was well-preserved by the locals of Bohol.
When we arrived at Kinaiyahan Forest Park it was located at Bilar, Bohol. You can first feel tranquility and a deep connection to nature that makes you relax. They have bamboo structures and green grass and trees. They have mini lakes, bamboo swings, and animals and they call it Rabbit Island and Peacock Island. Kinaiyahan is a new tourist spot in Bohol and it is worth a visit and perfect for unwinding and breaking away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Right after we checked and were amazed by the different types of bamboo, we went to Peacock Island the moment we entered their cage, they showcased their tail feathers immediately displaying their beautiful colors. One of the tour guides says that they were showing off to attract their mate.
Next is the rabbit island where you can see many cute rabbits, I was able to touch and hug them and they all came out right after we fed them. Later on, as we got tired, we rested for a while and went to their restaurant and had a taste of their famous biko, toron with sweet potatoes inside.
After eating and regenerating our energy, we proceeded with our next destination which was to see the famous tarsier in Bohol, but before we reached there, we stopped by Man Made Forest and took a picture of it. We couldn't stop laughing at that time since we don't have decent pictures since many vehicles are passing by and we need to look around to see if there are any passing cars.
A few minutes later, we finally rich our destination where we could see the tarsier. It was my first time seeing them and I was surprised by how small and light they were, almost like paper. They were so tiny that were hard to spot. I only saw them in the picture so I am expecting that they are huge. Also, you are not allowed to make any noise to prevent them from being stressed, there are only a few tarsiers left so I hope that they will be taken care of, can multiply and ensure their existence for the next generations.
There are still many beautiful sights to see in Bohol, and it's a shame that we had limited time during our stay there. But I will come back and create more beautiful memories. I hope that the people of Bohol will continue to preserve its treasures and that tourists visiting Bohol will be responsible for ensuring the long-term existence of these riches.
So that is all for today and Thank you so much for taking the time to read my new shared blog. Stay tuned for my next blog. Thank you and stay hydrated everyone!
