Antalya Turkey; A climbing Trip

Hello lovely people of hive;

Today I want to ıntroduce you to a hidden rock climbing gem in Antalya, Turkey where you can experience one of the best adrenaline sports in the world while you enjoy nice beaches and nature around.

It’s not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.

This is from Olimpos, Antalya. Olympos was an ancient country so it has many historical sights you can visit while you are there. It is also on the Lycian Way which is a famous 535 km hiking road.

It is considered one of the 10 best hiking tracks in the world. So if you are a person who loves to grab a back bag and hit the road, you might want to check it out :) Lycian Way

Olympos also has a lovely beach with the most blue sea color so you can enjoy climbing and also a dip at the same day.

Once you start to climb up the mountain you reach the rocks; a rock climbing heaven for the adrenaline junkies.

This is from Geyikbayırı, where is very close to Olympos.

I had been climbing for three years before I visited this place so it came easy for me. But if you want to try for just once you can have that here too. There are many people who would like to help you or you can find teachers if you want to learn more about it.

I started climbing right away as I wanted to try it on the rocks of Antalya. They are also famous too.

The best view comes after the hardest climb

Watching from the top was one of the best feeling in the world. You feel free. Untouchable. Mesmerized by adrenaline. Happy.

The View

After climbing, we head back for a big meal as we were starving. The place we stayed had a kitchen all the guests can use. We prepared our own food with many climbers. You can stay in little wooden houses which Is a very nice experience by itself.

My friends on the rock

There is also a river closed to where we stayed. You can reach there by 5 minutes walking. It was cold but the water is pure so you can also swim there too.

We stayed in this heaven for 3 days and went back home. But the memories will stay. I will definitely recommend anyone who loves nature sports to come and check Antalya.

Thank you for reading! All photos are taken by my 90s canon :)
