Loc Yen ancient village in Tien Canh commune - Tien Phuoc district - Quang Nam province is likened to "Fairy land" because of the rustic and peaceful beauty typical of rural Vietnam and the warm friendliness of the people here. There are many old houses in the village, built from 150 to near 200 years old. The uniquely designed houses are made with jack wood. Especially, each house has a stone-paved alley which bears a specific feature suitable to the house. It is known that Loc Yen has been recognized as a National Relic and is one of four the most beautiful ancient villages in Vietnam by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. In which, the old house of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Suu's family can be said to be the most beautiful old house here and was once solicited by Ngo Dinh Diem who was the final prime minister of the State of Vietnam (1954–55) to buy it but failed.
In front of a old house
This house is the place where currently owns a very famous Spirituality one-legged rotating wooden table. It is known that you just need to put your hand on the table and touch it lightly, and if someone's mind is pure and their spirit is light, the table will rotate immediately, and if someone's heart is heavy, it will take a long time to revolve the table surface. To verify that I put my hands on the table, try to keep our mind freeing of dirty and say "rotate", in silence for 2 minutes the table surface began spins. When you say, "hurry up" the table will rotate at a faster speed but not all tests were successful. If you have the opportunity to come here, please visit this house to find an answer for yourself.

The entrance of the old house
You can spend a day to visit, have lunch at a very large restaurant in the village with rustic architecture made from bamboo to serve visitors from far away; the food is quite good with typical local dishes. Last year, my colleagues and I rented a 7-seat car to come here from Da Nang. At this time Loc Yen welcomed me with the heavy rain weather which was not very favorable. But at noon, the weather cleared and the sun was shining, we walked around the village, visited the old houses, took advantage of taking some photos as a souvenir of our holiday.
You only need to spend 1 day here to be able to enjoy the fresh air, peaceful beauty very typical of rural Vietnam. Also in this village there is a beautiful bridge over the Da Giang River and another famous scenic spot is Lo Thung rock pool. This place is referred to as “The Mysterious Stone Kingdom” for the hundreds of bizarre stone shapes that stretch for 01 km along the river. That day we stopped at Lo Thung rock around 15:30 but because it started to rain heavily, so we had missed the opportunity of visit the tourist attraction.
All photos were taken by me with Canon 80D and cellphone. Beautiful girls in photos are my colleagues. Anyone want to be friend with them? 😄
