This weekend I had the opportunity to make a dream come true, and that is to know a beautiful area of Venezuela that stands out for its beautiful crystal clear beaches, and various keys that make us live the experience of reaching them through boats. We stayed in the town of Tucacas, Falcon State, and among all the wonders we lived in the sea, undoubtedly to have known the South Beach in the Paiclas Key, belonging to the Morrocoy National Park.
Este fin de semana tuve la oportunidad de hacer un sueño realidad, y es conocer una zona hermosa de Venezuela que resalta por sus hermosas playas cristalinas, y diversos cayos que nos hacen vivir la experiencia de llegar a ellos a través de lanchas. Nos hospedamos en el pueblo de Tucacas, Estado Falcón, y entre todas las maravillas que vivimos en el mar, sin duda alguna haber conocido la Playa Sur en el Cayo Paiclas, perteneciente al Parque Nacional Morrocoy.
Some called it Playa Sur and others called it Playa Azul, the fact is that it is a small paradise on earth, since it is not so extensive. Only boats and yachts reach it and despite being in the middle of the sea, the beach is very low, no matter how much you try to dive and enter, it is very low, with white sands that give an emerald glow to the sea. There is a small and deteriorated pier for those of us who arrive in the boats, but it is quite safe despite looking like this 😅
Unos le decían Playa Sur y otros le decían Playa Azul, el caso es que es un pequeño paraíso en la tierra, ya que no es tan extensa. Solo lanchas y yates llegan hasta ella y a pesar de estar en medio del mar, la playa es muy baja, por más que intentes sumergirte y adentrarte, es muy baja, de arenas blancas que le dan un brillo esmeralda al mar. Hay un pequeño y deteriorado muelle para los que llegamos en las lanchas, pero es bastante seguro a pesar de verse así 😅
I really like beaches with strong waves, but this is not the case. In Playa Sur the waves are low and only break when they reach the shore, or at least the day I went there it was like that. It is perfect to have pleasant and long conversations with friends, it feels very safe because it is not deep and the ground also feels very clean, there are few rocks that you could find on the ground. I had never drank sangria in the sea, but that day I did, and I noticed that many people even ate in the water, I think it is something that is encouraged by the same vendors who have small floating tents and even their point of sale to charge 😵💫 but best of all is the focus of most people to keep the waters clean, that pleased me a lot and I do not see it in all the beaches of my country.
A mí me gustan mucho las playas con oleajes fuertes, pero este no es el caso. En Playa Sur las olas son bajas y solo revientan al llegar a la orilla, o al menos el día que yo fui fue así. Es perfecta para tener gratas y largas conversaciones con amigos, se siente muy segura por no ser profunda y el suelo también se siente muy limpio, son pocas las rocas que podrías encontrar en el suelo. Nunca había bebido sangría dentro del mar, pero ese día lo hice, y noté que muchas personas incluso comían dentro del agua, creo que es algo que propician los mismos vendedores que tienen pequeñas tiendas flotantes y hasta su punto de venta para cobrar 😵💫 pero lo mejor de todo es el enfoque de la mayoría de las personas por mantener las aguas limpias, eso me agradó mucho y no lo observo en todas las playas de mi país.
My visit to Playa Sur was perfect, we had already come from walking around other keys in the area, but in this one we stayed for several hours. We took everything we needed to spend the day on the beach, but the place is not lacking in food, umbrellas and chairs and even girls who do relaxing massages. At the end of the lower part there is a floating yellow warning for people not to leave the safe zone, and although I did not take pictures of the shore, I can tell you that there are many trees, in fact we did not need awnings, just some chairs to rest. In the background you can see the coast, it is not very far away, but from another town far away from where we were originally staying.
Mi visita a Playa Sur fue perfecta, ya veníamos de pasear por otros cayos de la zona, pero en este os quedamos varias horas. Llevamos todo lo necesario para pasar el día en la playa, pero en el lugar no falta comida, toldos y sillas y hasta chicas que hacen masajes relajantes. Al final de la parte baja hay un aviso amarillo flotante para que las personas no se salgan de la zona segura, y aunque no tomé fotos de la orilla, les puedo decir que hay muchos árboles, de hecho no necesitamos toldos, solo algunas sillas para descansar. Al fondo se puede ver la costa, no es muy lejana, pero de otra población lejana a la que nos hospedamos originalmente.
Yesterday I shared with you a couple of photos of the sunset in this place, but of course I have saved my favorite to close today's post, a sunset from the pier, while waiting for the boat that would return us to the coast. I hope I can return to Playa Sur, but I still have many places to visit in Morrocoy National Park. I hope to share soon more pictures of the other places I visited this weekend, but I had to start by showing a little bit of this tropical paradise in Worldmappin ❤️
Ayer les compartí un par de fotos del atardecer en este lugar, pero claro que he guardado mi favorita para cerrar el post de hoy, un atardecer desde el muelle, mientras esperaba la lancha que nos regresaría a la costa. Ojalá pueda volver a Playa Sur, pero aún tengo muchos lugares por conocer en el Parque Nacional Morrocoy. Espero compartir pronto más fotografías de los otros lugares que conocí este fin de semana, pero tenía que comenzar por mostrar un poco de este paraiso tropical en Worldmappin ❤️
