Historic Dawson City
I just came back from an amazing trip to the historic Dawson City in the Yukon Territory.
Located in Northern Canada famous for the early klondike gold rush days.
Really cool to see some of the original buildings that are over 100 years old.
Dirt roads and sidewalks made out of wood.
So much history in Dawson City you need a few days here to see everything.
There are tours available and gold panning lessons. All kinds of fun things to do and see.
At the height of the gold rush Dawson City was the largest city west of Winnipeg in Canada with a population of 30,000. Today just over 2300 people reside in Dawson City.
Of course when in Dawson City you need to see a show at the famouse Diamond Tooth Gerties.
If you're into the historic gold rush days you definitely should head up to Dawson City Yukon. You wont be disappointed.
Prices are reasonable for accommodations and dining.
Hey if your lucky and get to go on a gold panning excursion you might strike it rich!!
Hope you enjoyed the photos from my trip to Dawson City!!
Until next time. Get out and adventure!!
