One of the most significant moments of my life has been the marriage consecration with my husband, it seems like yesterday that September 28, 2015, when we decided to unify our life project as friends, confidants and lovers of wonderful experiences as a family. To celebrate this 6th Wedding Anniversary, the night before I received the wonderful news that we were going to celebrate this emotional date in Glamping The Teepee - Mombeltrán, beautiful mountainous enclave that is located in the south of the province of Ávila, Spain.
So delighted by the celebration, the next morning we got up early to move to the Sierra de Gredos.
Approximately at 07:00 hours we leave Madrid towards the village of Ramacastañas, after a journey of 02:15 hours, we find ourselves before the wonderful influence of the mountainous climate with its beautiful vegetation; a wild adventure Glamping The Teepee in the lower part of the Sierra de Gredos.
Un decorativo cartel de bienvenida nos recibe en la entrada, que llama la atención por su empedrada pared cubierta de líquenes y plantas parasitarias que reciben la sombra de los imponentes árboles de pino.
A decorative welcome sign greets us at the entrance, which is striking for its cobblestone wall covered with lichens and parasitic plants that are shaded by the imposing pine trees.
Glamping The Teepee cuenta con solo seis refugios cónicos de madera de este tipo y en este me esperaba una hermosa decoración romántica que no dejó de sorprenderme.
Glamping The Teepee has only six such conical wooden shelters and in this one I was expecting a beautiful romantic decor that never ceased to amaze me.
Es un lugar muy fresco donde disfruté oír la corriente de agua del río Ramacastañas en un dinámico transitar mientras choca con las pedregosas canales que en veces son silenciadas por el canto de diversas especies de aves.
It is a very cool place where I enjoyed listening to the Ramacastañas river water flowing in a dynamic transit while it collides with the stony channels that sometimes are silenced by the singing of various species of birds.
Además, del confortable Teepee, el lugar cuenta con cómodas hamacas colgadas entre los largos tallos de pino, donde disfrutamos de ricas siestas y una agradable brisa que arrastra los fragantes aromas de las distintas especies vegetales en el entorno.
In addition to the comfortable Teepee, the place has comfortable hammocks hung among the long stems of pine trees, where we enjoy rich naps and a pleasant breeze that carries the fragrant aromas of the different plant species in the environment.
Otro de los atractivos que me encantó y disfruté muchísimo fue cabalgar montaña arriba por un bello sendero forestal, es segunda vez que subía a un lindo caballo.
Another attraction that I loved and enjoyed very much was riding up the mountain on a beautiful forest trail, it was the second time I had ridden a beautiful horse.
La cabalgata de ascenso y regreso al área de alojamiento fue de aproximadamente 4:15 horas, nos divertimos mucho, tomamos varias fotografías y nos maravillamos de la belleza natural de este espléndido sistema montañoso vegetal.
The ride up and back to the lodging area was approximately 4:15 hours, we had a lot of fun, took several pictures and marveled at the natural beauty of this splendid vegetation mountain system.
Cervezas, vino, carne asada, sol, plantaciones de árboles frutales, canto de aves, avistamiento de reptiles e incluso algunas serpientes, fueron parte de esta escapada silvestre para celebrar mi 6to. aniversario de bodas.
Beers, wine, barbecued meat, sunshine, fruit tree plantations, birdsong, reptile sightings and even some snakes were all part of this wild getaway to celebrate my 6th wedding anniversary.
