Finally back by this beautiful community to show you the spectacular city we met on our trip to Croatia called Kaštela, which translates to English as Castle, and it makes sense since this city consists of 7 villages where in each one there is a castle, these villages are called: Kaštel Štafilić, Kaštel Novi, Kaštel Stari, Kaštel Lukšić, Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Gomilica and Kaštel Sutura, I must confess that I had to copy the names because the truth is that I still do not learn Polish (and I have 2 years living in Poland) so less I am given Croatian.

Como ya les dije antes, Kaštela está ubicada entre Trogir y Split y la idea de ir a este lugar fue de mi esposo Paweł pero sin duda a mi me encantó y claro que si van a Croacia se las recomiendo que la visiten porque estoy segura que les va a encantar también. No recuerdo en qué llegamos hasta allí, pero creo que tomamos un Uber desde Trogir lo que si recuerdo es que lo primero que vimos fue una espectacular torre con la bandera de Croacia llamada Torre Nehaj y justo al lado un hermoso arco de corazón con el nombre de Kaštela.
As I told you before, Kaštela is located between Trogir and Split and the idea of going to this place was my husband Paweł's but without a doubt I loved it and of course if you go to Croatia I recommend you to visit it because I am sure you will love it too. I don't remember how we got there, but I think we took an Uber from Trogir, what I do remember is that the first thing we saw was a spectacular tower with the flag of Croatia called Nehaj Tower and right next to it a beautiful heart arch with the name of Kaštela.
Realmente me pareció que Kaštela es una ciudad muy tranquila y hay menos gente que en Split o incluso Trogir. Mientras íbamos caminando en busca del primer castillo podíamos notar que en cada rincón habían bancas para sentarse a disfrutar de una espectacular vista al mar, además estas tenían algunos árboles a los lados lo que les proporcionaba sombra aunque este día no lo necesitabas porque no había mucho calor y el sol a veces se escondía. También si prefieres puedes bañarte en alguna de sus playas donde el agua se veía igual de clara y fresca como otras playas que visitamos en Croacia.
It really seemed to me that Kaštela is a very quiet town and there are less people than in Split or even Trogir. While we were walking in search of the first castle we could notice that in every corner there were benches to sit and enjoy a spectacular view of the sea, also these had some trees on the sides which provided shade although this day you did not need it because it was not very hot and the sun sometimes hid. Also if you prefer you can swim in one of the beaches where the water was as clear and fresh as other beaches we visited in Croatia.
Kaštela además de tranquila me pareció una ciudad muy limpia y allí también vimos varias iglesias muy bonitas, en realidad esta es una ciudad donde hay mucho para ver, también hay varios restaurantes, nosotros visitamos uno en el pueblo Kaštel Novi y que les mostré en mi post de ayer que me pareció espectacular ubicado frente a un lindo parque (porque sí, también hay varios parques hermosos aquí) y con una genial vista al mar. Finalmente vimos el primer castillo en nuestro camino en Kaštel Štafilić llamado Castillo de Rotondo, el cual me pareció muy bonito y solo verlo desde afuera me hizo sentir que caminaba en el pasado.
Kaštela besides being quiet I found it a very clean city and there we also saw several very nice churches, actually this is a city where there is a lot to see, there are also several restaurants, we visited one in the village Kaštel Novi and that I showed you in my post yesterday that I found spectacular located in front of a nice park (because yes, there are also several beautiful parks here) and with a great view of the sea. Finally we saw the first castle on our way in Kaštel Štafilić called Rotondo Castle, which I thought was very nice and just seeing it from the outside made me feel like I was walking in the past.

Como ven había un aviso en el castillo que ponía información sobre este, como que fue construido por Stjepan Stafileo de Trogir en 1508, no sé si se puede entrar a este o solo ver desde afuera, nosotros solo lo vimos desde afuera porque estaba cerrado, así que después de un par de fotos seguimos nuestro camino ahora hacia Kaštel Novi y aquí vimos palmeras y por si no lo he dicho antes, amo las palmeras. Aquí visitamos el restaurante Konoba Papalina para tomar una cerveza y relajarnos un poco frente a un hermoso parque que tenía una roca grande la cual era una fuente, estuve un rato caminando allí con Olivia en mis brazos ya que es un lugar muy fresco puesto que tiene varios árboles alrededor.

Here we visited the restaurant Konoba Papalina to have a beer and relax a bit in front of a beautiful park that had a big rock which was a fountain, I was walking there for a while with Olivia in my arms as it is a very cool place since it has several trees around.
Y como olvidar la hermosa e interesante iglesia de San Pedro también en Kaštel Novi y es que en Kaštela hay muchas cosas interesantes, incluso las casas allí llaman mucho la atención, debe ser un sueño vivir allí por la tranquilidad que se siente y con la vista al mar. En Kaštel Novi vimos varios restaurantes y bares, de hecho uno nos llamó mucho la atención porque tenía unas figuras geniales de unos muñecos rockeros afuera jajaja y aunque en este pueblo no vimos playa, si vimos un espectacular momento de un jinete en un caballo que no estoy segura si forma parte de Kaštel Novi o del siguiente pueblo Kaštel Stari, o tal vez forma parte de los dos.
And how to forget the beautiful and interesting church of St. Peter also in Kaštel Novi and in Kaštela there are many interesting things, even the houses there call much attention, it must be a dream to live there for the tranquility you feel and with the sea view. In Kaštel Novi we saw several restaurants and bars, in fact one caught our attention because it had some cool figures of rocker dolls outside hahaha and although in this town we did not see beach, we did see a spectacular moment of a rider on a horse that I'm not sure if it is part of Kaštel Novi or the next town Kaštel Stari, or maybe it is part of both.

Llegamos ahora a Kaštel Stari dónde en el puerto vimos una escultura llamada Sol del amor, un lugar perfecto para fotografiarse sin duda, aquí en Stari también vimos algunos restaurantes, otro hermoso parque y además playa. Olvidé mencionar que en varias partes de Kaštela vimos el arco de corazón que les mostré al inicio de este post con el nombre de la ciudad.
We arrived now to Kaštel Stari where in the port we saw a sculpture called Sun of love, a perfect place to take a picture without a doubt, here in Stari we also saw some restaurants, another beautiful park and also beach. I forgot to mention that in several parts of Kaštela we saw the heart arch that I showed you at the beginning of this post with the name of the city.

Seguimos nuestro camino hasta llegar a Kaštel Lukšić, dónde vimos el famoso castillo Vitturi, donde si pudimos entrar y gratis y además fue bastante interesante que este castillo tiene una puerta que da justo al mar y desde dónde hice una foto que les muestro abajo, en este pueblo también hay otro parque espectacular lleno de palmeras pero lastimosamente aquí terminó nuestro recorrido por Kaštela, puesto que se hacía tarde y necesitábamos volver, así que nos faltó por conocer Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Gomilica y Kaštel Sutura. Sin duda Kaštela es una ciudad donde puedes perderte un día completo y disfrutar de muchas cosas. Así que si vas a Croacia te recomiendo que no dudes visitar esta ciudad que es demasiado interesante y está llena de mucha historia.
We continued our way until we reached Kaštel Lukšić, where we saw the famous Vitturi castle, where we could enter for free and it was also quite interesting that this castle has a door that overlooks the sea and from where I took a picture that I show you below, in this town there is also another spectacular park full of palm trees but unfortunately here ended our tour of Kaštela, since it was getting late and we needed to return, so we missed to know Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Gomilica and Kaštel Sutura. No doubt Kaštela is a city where you can lose a full day and enjoy many things. So if you go to Croatia I recommend that you do not hesitate to visit this city that is too interesting and full of history.
