Hello Hive friends! As I promised before, here is my post about my first time leaving the country and visiting Salvador de Bahía, located in the northwest of Brazil.
¡Hola amigos de Hive! como prometí anteriormente acá va mi post de mi primera vez saliendo del país y conociendo Salvador de Bahía, situado al noroeste de Brasil.
As I had mentioned, this happened thanks to one of my best friends, who gave me the ticket. I was super excited, anxious and nervous because I had never gotten on a plane, much less had I known the sea, so it was all a dream for me. I couldn't even sleep the whole trip from the excitement I had.
Como había mencionado, esto sucedió gracias a una de mis mejores amigas, quien me regaló el pasaje. Yo estaba super emocionada, ansiosa y nerviosa porque jamás había subido a un avión y mucho menos había conocido el mar, por lo que era todo un sueño para mi. Ni siquiera pude dormir en todo el viaje de la emoción que tenia.
After many hours we arrived at Barra, the town where we stayed. We ate the typical meals there, we drank and we spent it in the sea, meeting new people.
Después de muchas horas llegamos a Barra, la localidad en donde nos hospedamos. Comimos allí las comidas típicas, tomamos y nos la pasamos en el mar, conociendo gente nueva.
The apartment was two blocks from the sea and was located in a very picturesque and quiet neighborhood, with buildings that represent the area.
El departamento quedaba a dos cuadras del mar y se ubicaba en un barrio muy pintoresco y tranquilo, con construcciones que representan la zona.
We visited the model market, where they sell handicrafts, works of art, souvenirs, etc. To get to it, you had to go through a kind of elevator that gave you this beautiful view.
Conocimos el mercado modelo, donde venden artesanías, obras de arte, recuerdos, etc. Para llegar a él, tenías que atravesar una especie de ascensor que te regalaba esta hermosa vista.
The next day, we went to the island of Itaparica by catamaran. Where we ate and enjoyed the trip on the water.
Al día siguiente, fuimos a la isla de Itaparica en catamarán. Donde comimos y disfrutamos el viaje sobre el agua.
When we arrived, we took a tour of the center and saw its main tourist attraction: The Fountain of Life. Its water is said to have medicinal, diuretic and digestive properties, which is why it is recommended for gastro-intestinal problems.
Cuando llegamos, hicimos un tour por el centro y vimos su principal atracción turística: La fuente de vida. Se dice que su agua tiene propiedades medicinales, de acción diurética y digestiva por lo que la recomiendan para los problemas gastro-intestinales.
We take advantage of our free time by resting a little. Since being so excited, I walked a lot, wanting to see everything and did not realize that I had to rest at some point hahaha. And above all, I also took advantage of the trip to eat things that my country does not have or that I had not tried.
Aprovechamos el tiempo libre descansando un poco. Ya que al estar tan emocionada, caminaba un montón, queriendo ver todo y no me daba cuenta de que tenía que descansar en algún momento jajaja. Y sobre todo, también aproveché el viaje para comer cosas que en mi país no hay o que no había probado.
