Every state in Venezuela has a Plaza Bolivar, where it is mostly located in the centre of the city, the state of Yaracuy, although it is small, also has one, as I had many years without visiting it because I lived abroad, I decided to visit it and also take some pictures to appreciate its architecture and keep them as a souvenir, I want to share them with you I hope you like it.
Esta plaza tiene muchísimos años, pero además es una de las más modernas, pequeñas y espaciosas del país, como todo diseño de la herencia de los españoles, en tiempos de colonia los principales poderes quedaron al rededor la plaza, en este caso la catedral matriz del estado, el palacio de gobierno central además el edificio de la gobernación administrativa, el poder legislativo y además de algunos comercios.
This square is very old, but it is also one of the most modern, small and spacious in the country, like all designs of the Spanish heritage, in colonial times the main powers were around the square, in this case the main cathedral of the state, the central government palace, the administrative government building, the legislative power and some shops.
La plaza sin el momento al mayor proceder de la independencia no tendría valor, el busto a Simón Bolívar, padre de la patria, en su caballo señalando el noroeste del país, es la característica emblema del lugar, esta plaza la tiene en todo el centro, se rodea de espacios verdes en cada esquina, existen banco o sillas metálicas para que los visitantes se pueden sentar y pasar un momento agradable.
The square would be worthless without the moment of independence, the bust of Simon Bolivar, father of the fatherland, on his horse pointing to the northwest of the country, is the emblematic feature of the place, this square is surrounded by green spaces in every corner, there are benches or metal chairs so that visitors can sit and spend a pleasant moment.
Como se pueden ver en las fotografías es un lugar donde muchas personas van a sentarse a pasar el día o a reunirse para hablar, también hay muchos estudiantes, y algunos vendedores de helados, esta plaza además de ser la principal está muy bien cuidada, limpia y además es muy segura.
As you can see in the pictures it is a place where many people go to sit and spend the day or meet to talk, there are also many students, and some ice cream sellers, this square besides being the main square is very well kept, clean and it is also very safe.
Tengo muchos recuerdos de esta plaza, como por ejemplo fue acá donde se hizo mi acto de grado como licenciado 8 años atrás, además siempre me reunía con unos amigos y recuerdo alguna vez tener citas con algunas chicas que me llamaban la atención, pero hace mucho tiempo.
I have many memories of this square, for example it was here where I did my graduation ceremony 8 years ago, I always met with some friends and I remember some dates with some girls who caught my attention, but it was a long time ago.
