Sunset at Corazon del Cielo, Panama

Last night we had a glimpse of dry season in the middle of rainy season. There was no rain all day long and the sky was amazing at sunset! I was able to grab my phone and take shots of different parts of the sky within about 10 minutes of each other.

One of my favorite things to see in rainy season is our volcano, Baru. We don't get to see it often because it's usually covered in clouds during this time of year. During dry season, it's out every night and usually has amazing colors surrounding it around sunset. Last night was not disappointing, and photos just don't do justice to the colors we see in real life! In the photo above, you can see three of the houses in our neighborhood that we rent.

I have found a great spot to take photos at sunset recently. When I stand on top of a large rock, I can see our tower as well as Baru. This spot lets me see over the pavilion and includes all of the tower. Our tower is 80 feet tall and will be used as a water tower, lookout, and apartment. I have got to do a post about it soon!

I also saw that our newest tower that got its top installed last week had a nice sunset behind it as well as a sliver of the moon over it! (Linked post was written by @apanamakid.) I just love how all the directions in the sky have a different and dramatic look! It is so amazing living right where we do!

The last shot is of our tower with some new things we installed recently - the flag of Panama and Chiriqui, as well as a new light fixture my husband made. He is pretty handy and it looks really cool! The colors behind the tower just screamed at me to take a photo!

We really love living in the part of Panama that we live in! It's a great location with some wonderful people and amazing views! We love it here, and if you ever make it to Panama, be sure you come by to say hello!
