It was a pleasant Tuesday morning. Bayo had just resumed schooling, a few days after he took ill. His mom was the one who drove him to the school's gate up to the point where he was welcomed by his form mistress.

"Oh, my good boy, good to see you again. You look healthy and strong now."

"Yes, I am aunty. Thank you so much." Bayo said but with a faint smile.

"What's the problem, Bayo? You know you can talk to me, right?"

"Yes, I do. I'm just sad that I missed my lessons and I also missed having assignments to take home."

"Not to worry, Bayo. I already covered all of that and trust me, you will catch up with the others as long as you dedicate time to study."

"Okay aunty." Bayo said as he heaved a long sigh, watching his mother exchange better pleasantries with the form mistress who had walked back to the gate to inform her that Bayo had no issues getting to class.

Bayo bade his mum farewell and immediately, he followed his form mistress to the class.

"Bayo is back!" Everyone screamed as the most of them welcomed him with a clap and smiles on their faces. Bayo looked so excited as he sat down on his desk to bring out his notebooks and color pencils in anticipation of the class where he was to learn about color wheel.
