Today we dive into the bottom of the sea to talk about these magical and mysterious creatures that abound in the oceans of social networks during the month of May, yes, I'm referring to the #mermay challenge created by Tom Bancroft, the father of Mushu, the dragon from Mulan.
Year after year I enjoy the creations of my fellow artists, which serves as inspiration for me to make my own versions of these sensual and charming beings.
I love mermaids, I love their sensuality, their wavy hair, the fact that they rule the fantasy seas and their beautiful voice with which they enchant the sailors attracting them to them.
And that is reflected in my artistic creations, as they are one of the themes that I have explored the most in various media, from traditional art to digital art and currently using artificial intelligence (AI).
Every year I do a drawing challenge in which I am accompanied by the academy Jóvenes Pintores de Venezuela, however this year I could not do the challenge, but that did not prevent me from continuing to participate in one way or another in the #mermay through my creations with artificial intelligence.
The truth is that I have little time exploring my creative process through AI, but I have to confess that I have been in love with the result.
Many of the creations that I share in this post were made using my photographs as a reference, so you could say that they are self-portraits of me as a mermaid 😁🧜.
To make them I used Vana AI, with the Studio tool, where you can generate your own themes to explore with your portraits.
I love fantasy art, so this type of art was my starting point to create the portraits. I love pastel or vibrant colors, that was another component that I found indispensable in my creations. Color is an important piece in all my artistic creations.
Overall the creative process was a lot of fun for me.
Creating through IA is often used as a hobby to distract and relax. And I was always surprised and fascinated with each result.

Hoy nos sumergimos en el fondo del mar para hablar de estas mágicas y misteriosas criaturas que abundan en los océanos de las redes sociales durante el mes de mayo, si, me estoy refiriendo al reto #mermay creado por Tom Bancroft, el padre de Mushu, el dragón de Mulán.
Año tras año disfruto las creaciones de mis colegas artistas, lo cual me sirve de inspiración para realizar mis propias versiones de estos sensuales y encantadores seres.
Amo a las sirenas, me encanta su sensualidad, sus cabellos ondulados,el hecho que reinen los mares de fantasía y su hermosa voz con la que hechizan a los marineros atrayendolos hacia ellas.
Y eso se ve reflejado en mis creaciones artísticas, ya que son uno de los temas que más he explorado en diversos medios, desde el arte tradicional hasta el arte digital y actualmente usando la inteligencia artificial (AI)
Todos los años realizó un reto de dibujo en el cual me acompaña la academia Jóvenes Pintores de Venezuela, sin embargo este año no pude realizar el reto, pero eso no impidió que siguiera participando de una u otra forma en el #mermay a través de mis creaciones con inteligencia artificial.
La verdad es que tengo poco tiempo explorando mi proceso creativo a través de la AI, pero tengo que confesar que he quedado enamorada del resultado.
Muchas de las creaciones que comparto en este post se hicieron usando como referencia mis fotografías, por lo que podría decirse que son autorretratos míos como sirena 😁🧜.
Para realizarlos utilice la AI de Vana, con la herramienta Studio, donde puedes generar tus propios temas para explorar con tus retratos.
Amo el arte de fantasía, así que este tipo de arte fue mi punto de partida para crear los retratos. Me encantan los colores pasteles o vibrantes, ese fue otro componente que me pareció indispensable en mis creaciones. El color es una pieza importante en todas mis creaciones artísticas.
En general el proceso creativo fue muy divertido para mí.
La creación a través de la AI la suelo usar como un hobby para distraerme y relajarme. Y quedó siempre sorprendida y fascinada con cada resultado.
