Konnichiwa Hivers! It's me, your ridgette again, and for today, I'm gonna share with you my entry for this week's wild plot Wednesdays. So for me, it will be a DC crossover since I've read some comics from DC (Watchmen, Batman: White Knight series, and other side stories of characters from DC comics) before. Honestly, I don't read much English comics because, for me, they're more wordy than manga/manhwa/manhua. Anyway, the character that I've chosen is Katana from Outsiders. I chose her because she is a swordswoman and also because she has a really tragic backstory. And as for the anime that I've chosen, it's Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku. Why? I am not that certain about my reason either, but anyway, here's my 250-word plot summary of a possible brief crossover between warriors from different fandoms. Enjoy!
Cursed to wander the earth without a husband or children, Tatsu Yamashiro, or Katana, is determined to track down her former employer. Before, it was Tadashi, her past employer, who gave her lists of the people she needed to kill, but after the betrayal and her almost-death, she realized she needed to pay her debt to him.
She searched for him in the countries within Asia, and upon her arrival in Hong Kong, she unexpectedly encountered a strange pair of young men. They're called the Aza Brothers; one of them is a man, while the other looks like a small boy—but don't be fooled by his small frame. Sensing an immense bloodlust, Katana was forced to draw her Soultaker. She thought it was from the man, but that seems like a miscalculation because apparently the bloodlust is from the small boy who transformed into a fully fledged man who didn't look like a human at all. Katana immediately made clear of her intentions, and the ordinary-looking among the brothers somehow understood her. Still not convinced by Katana's explanation, the vicious one tried to attack her, which she swiftly parried with her Soultaker.
Intrigued, the vicious one asked her to duel with him someday, which she agreed reluctantly since the ordinary-looking man somehow non-verbally hinted that his brother wouldn't stop bothering her if she didn't agree. After that, she continued to track down Tadashi while wishing not to encounter those strange brothers too soon—for it surely wouldn't be favorable.
