Japanese singer Sayuri dies at the age of 28. She announced her hiatus back in 2022 due to functional dysphonia. Sayuri had her first big debut at the age of 18 and was seen as one of the young talents of this generation taken too soon. My first encounter with her song was a collab between My First Story when they made one of the songs of the anime Golden Kamuy.

Some of her works in anime include the ending songs for Scum's Wish, Lycoris Recoil, My Hero Academia Season 4, Erased.

As a fan of her, I couldn't help but feel deep sense of loss because she was an artist, someone that inspired, someone I listened to, and all the good vibes. She was also part of the inspiration for me to continue my art hobby because of the idea that she also started out doing something she likes then everything fell into place that landed her the career she had.
Currently just playing Sayuri's old videos on a background reminiscing the good times. I recall seeing one of her videos from the early days where she was street performing and even then she already had the skills to make it big.
