I turn Kitchen Waste Into A Home Made Organic Plant Fertiliser

Been too long isolated in the house.

The pandemic corona virus seems become the cooking competition to many of us at home.

Well, what else can do? Cooking skills improve and many of course got fat.

I knew someone who had heart attach and was in come. According to my source, since the lockdown, he does not go out and was always eating, drinking, eating and sleeping.

One day, he was rush to the hospital nearby here in the city of Davao.

Many of us also become creative.
Aside from me cooking, I also planted some plants that I took from the laundry area where many home owners left their plants and move somewhere else after the earthquake.

THE HOME MADE FERTILISER
There were so many kitchen left overs such as the peels of lemon and oranges as well as vegetables.

I turn them into a Fertiliser.

How Did I do this?
It was simple, I collected those kitchen waste, cut them into small pieces.
I place them into a bucket.
The waste has to be at the bottom. I place a layer of soil enough to cover the kitchen waste.

Never include any meat or liquid into this kitchen waste that you want to turn into Compost or Fertiliser.

I waited 2 weeks and there you go, I have a great Fertiliser for my new plants.
When I am back to Singapore, I will surely plant more and will use the organic home made fertiliser.

  • Let us create and recycle things from our kitchen.

  • Let us plant our own food this days.

  • Let us be creative.

  • Let us back to the old times how we pluck fruits and vegetables from hour backyard and gardens.

  • If we do not have space, we can plant using pots and sure we have place to this pots.
