We learn from our mistakes - Learning how to make 3D Models!

People say that your best teacher is your last mistake ...

Continuation of the experience of a beginner in 3D animation

After a good start, God! πŸ˜… How difficult was this, when I wanted to take the next step to low poly modeling that you already knew in my previous post I knew something was wrong.

When I had my little low polygon sinoceratops ready I started to create subdivisions of the faces to later obtain a high poly quality model, next I wanted to smooth my model to get more detail at the time to sculpting, but, πŸ˜‘ this was the result:

"What a mess!πŸ™ƒ" I thought, the mesh was broken, that would make the sculpting process impossible.

I spent one hour checking my mesh to find out that I had committed my first mistake in Blender using the "mirror" tool:

When I was happily modeling , I misconfigured this tool and the result was that our dinosaur (my nephew knows that it is bothπŸ˜†) would not be symmetrically defined on one side of space if not on both.

It took me 4 hours to fix the mesh in detail 😢. Which finally allowed me to give it the smooth you will appreciate:

So, it's time to start sculpting!

I think that the biggest attraction that Blender has is that it allows us to create our model from modeling and work it to achieve animation, so here is my first simple rendering to play around with the lights and cameras πŸŽ₯.

You should know that my nephew is still very excited about this project and follows every step and even helps me to make a few clicks 😍

You already know that he is a dinosaur lover

All images are of my original creation

Thanks for reading πŸ˜‰. I am glad you came. I hope that mistake can serve others who start in the world of 3D modeling .
