I figured I'd change things up today and post one of my original paintings, painted in acrylic on a 24" x 48" stretched canvas.
This painting is one of my favorites. I waffle back and forth over whether to sell it, or keep it for myself. Its meaning has less to do with the burning of Rome as a gender swapped Nero watches, and is more about a pervasive male belief that women are the ruination of man. From there, I let you glean your own meanings and symbolism.
Currently, she is for sale over at Saatchi Art. But, that may change.
As always, thanks for looking!
