I love October!
Is my favorite month of the year for several reasons. To start, my birthday is in October. Also, in this month the merciless heat of the Caribbean is finally gone. We also have halloween, I don't dress up but I surely eat candy... well, I always eat desserts and sugary goodies but hey, its halloween!! And we also have Inktober! I love this challenge cause I can come up with crazy stuff and the prompts helps a lot. I usually struggle when I draw something and having a list surely helps. This year I'm trying to do all the prompts including the extra 4 words for the Inktober and Primal collaboration. Usually there's 31 themes but this year there's 35 themes, 4 days have 2 prompts and even tho we don't have to do the extra 4 themes I'm gonna do all.... Inktober spirit took over me!
Enough blah blah, show us the drawings! Oh, I always add some coloring to my drawings. Some people will say its against the rules but I checked in twitter and even the creator of the challenge use some color in his entries... and they're my drawings so I do whatever the hell I want, right?
DAY 1: FISH
Poor Ralph wasn't prepared to see his cousin Bob hanging on a hook and it will be worst once he sees his mate Chu behind him. It seems the only one not caring is the worm that is reading a quantum physics book.
DAY 2: WISP
I must admit I had to google this one cause english is not my first language... and to be sincere lots of stuff came as meaning so I went to check in twitter and saw everyone drawing the smoke... so smoke it is! No match were harmed in this drawing, she's pissed off cause I blow off her fire.
DAY 3: BULKY
What can be more bulky than a good sandwich? No, seriously, what?! Oh and be cautious, he have a ketchup bottle and he's not afraid to use it!
DAY 4: RADIO AND THE PRIMAL EXTRA PROMPT WAS PREY
An evil psycho radio that wants to kill an innocent happy elf? Yes, please! Is halloween after all, right?
DAY 5: BLADE
For this day I wanted to keep it simple, so black and white it is. Drawing weapons can be very challenging. This one came up pretty nice!
DAY 6: RODENT
I wanted to draw a capybara but...eh... let's face it, my drawings skills sucks ahaha... stop nodding with your head already! So I draw this mouse... yes, is a mouse! I present to you, Sherlock Mouse! See? The moustache gives him the Sherlock Holmes look! He will investigate who ate the cheese, there's no way you can hide the truth from him!
Now, I totally forgot to document the whole drawing process and this whole time you've been seeing the @luxdiei signing in all drawings. That's my twitter user, you can go and check my twitter and see I added "blacklux in Hive...Hi HW!" msg in my bio, I even said hi to Hivewatchers, just in case hehehe. I'm sharing daily my inktober prompts in twitter, that's why it have my twitter username. I will try to remember to document the whole process of the drawings next time...
