Greetings for all wednesday walker! Every time when I am here in Bern I like to walk through the old town with its beautiful fountains and statues, I like to stroll through this place.
First the Time Bell Tower one of the famous attraction in the old town. It was first the gateway to the city and with it the opening way the outside world, then a prison, a fire watch and after the fire of 1405 definitely the central clock tower. Besides the time clock has many astronomical indictions, today in every full hour runs the beloved and especially by tourists greatly watched game of figures, see the right side, is worth it to watch and list this on the place!
This is my post for #WednesdayWalk, amazing challenge by @tattoodjay.
Below the Bern's St. Vincent Minster an most impressive Gothic building, the largest and most significant late medieval church in Switzerland.
In the background a part of the Parliament building, was built between 1894 and 1902 according to plans of the architect Hans Wilhelm Auer.
Thanks for stepping by,
Have a great Day!
