I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. This will be a short post, as it's already past 11PM and I'm very sleepy. It took me a while to catch up on my Hive notifications, which is why I'm starting this so late.
The woman that I mentioned in my previous post (Wendy) who had contacted me about a session, asked if we could do her session today instead of on Wednesday, to which I agreed. She was scheduled to arrive at 1PM, so I spent my morning intently focused on getting all my Hive tasks done before end session. Thankfully I'm an efficient and quite fast bugger, so I was able to get everything that I wanted to get done, done.
Because I had spare time on my hands, I used it to configure and build/compile another custom Linux kernel, tailored for the hardware in my laptop. This time I chose to reconfigure and recompile the Liquorix kernel (linux-lqx), based on my successful experience doing the same with the linux-ck kernel. The reason that I am reconfiguring and rebuilding them is because two-finger scrolling on my laptop's trackpad was not working with them, which told me that a driver got missed. Now that I know which it is, I'm making sure it's getting added into all new kernel builds. The rebuild of the linux-lqx kernel was a success, so now I have two different, fully-functional custom kernels built for my laptop. Amazingballs! I'll do more over the next few days. I really love configuring and compiling my own Linux kernels, and it's so easy in Arch Linux!
Wendy arrive for her session a little late, as she'd never been here before, and we're quite hidden at the end of some jungle roads. We talked for a bit, to set the container, then began the session close to 2pm, and we finished just after 5PM, so a shorter session, but still a very useful one. Wendy left happy and grateful, which felt really good.
After the session I made food in the Landing, poured myself another quart of my wonderful medicinal tea, and then headed back to the Flow House to catch up on Hive, write my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: Constant Innovation! post, and then begin writing this one.
It was a beautiful day, doing things I love. The only thing I missed was doing some plant and garden work, as that's often what I do on Sundays. All good, though. My time was still very well spent.
