It's time to go out again, as I already bought the ticket around one month ago to get an early bird purchase discount. My friend who loves to play D&D and board game stuff invited me to Arcane Alley. I went there yesterday and it's exhausting so I post it today.
At the entrance, there's a Ye Olde Tavern that welcomes us with the beauty of medieval decoration. The vibes of a medieval fantasy feel amazing here. Well, it has no beers there maybe due to permission thingy 😂. This event isn't that big known to many people as I also didn't know if my friend ever told me about this.
There are booths, taverns, role-play areas, and cosplayer rooms. All committees are wearing costumes and interact with attendees. Sadly, I don't have any costumes ready for this event. To be honest, I feel out of place because most of the people in Arcane Alley are wearing costumes. There are swordsmen, high elves, knights, and other jobs or races that you can find in medieval fantasy themes.
Witch found moment
There are many things to do there, including getting a main quest from Guild Masters to find a witch who blends in with the role-play area. The task detail is "Yesterday, there's a stall burnt and someone saw a witch as the perpetrator. The witch can transform into anyone to blend in. She will disguise as one of us. You need to find who's the witch and we will punish her." Well, players need to talk to people in the role-play area to get clues and others. There are herbalists, weapon shop owners, miners, merchants, and others. It's a co-op role-play for all attendees who want to join. Me and my friends just get a little clue and have no time to think and interact with other players. It's starting at 12:00 PM until 04:00 PM but the witch is found at 03:12 PM 😂. It's 48 minutes faster than the schedule. Players are shouting "BURN THE WITCH! BURN THE WITCH!" and of course, it becomes the main attention at that time while the weapon shop owner (a disguise) is a witch.
You can try to grab a sword and play a swordfight with your friends or committee.
Not enough? Team up with friends or randoms on Tug of War. As I don't feel like getting sweaty, I'm not into outside events. My friend teamed up with other players. I'm there until around 5:00 PM and we're done as my friend can't be back at night. Sad to see we miss the bonfire event. What I know is I think I'll put up a costume for the next year Arcane Alley.

Arcane Alley's Instagram is posting the hype of Day 1. Somehow we're spotted while we're at the tarot reading booth. My friend is sitting there while I'm behind him wearing the black jacket. We didn't notice we were on camera yesterday 😂. It was a fun day tho it's the first time I have participated in an event like that. Have a nice day everyone!
