When summer comes, the temperatures are very high, we spend less time in the kitchen next to the stove, but when you want to eat something sweet, simple and quick, here's an idea.
This refreshing cake can be made all year round, in summer you can add some seasonal fruit to your taste in the filling, and it can also be prepared without the addition of fruit. It is delicious, creamy, light, and then a real refreshment.
I prepared it without the addition of fruit, my son does not like some berries that are in season.
INGREDIENTS:
FOR SUBSTRATE:
- 500 ml of milk
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g of semolina
FOR FIL:
- 500 ml of milk
- 4 to 5 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 vanilla puddings
- 75 g butter
- 75 g sweet sour cream
CAKE GLAZING:
- 200 ml swet sour cream
- 100 g of cooking chocolate
PREPARATION:
In the shape we want, add a little oil to lubricate the pan.
Then add the milk and sugar to the bowl, when the milk boils, add the semolina and mix gently until the semolina becomes thick.
When the semolina thickens, add the cooked semolina to the pan that you greased and distribute it evenly, form a base and leave it at room temperature.
FILA PREPARATION:
Put milk in a bowl over low heat, set a couple of spoons aside to prepare the pudding.
In a separate bowl, prepare the pudding powder, put the pudding mixed with sugar and add milk to dilute it.
When the milk boils, add the prepared mass of pudding to the milk and cook until it thickens, cover the pudding with a transparent foil and leave it in the fridge to cool.
The pudding is covered with a transparent foil so that they do not get a crust.
When the pudding has cooled well, add butter to the bowl, then cool the pudding and mix with a mixer to combine the mass.
When the mass is combined, stirring constantly, add sweet sour cream and you will get a thick and creamy filling.
Over the semolina base, we add vanilla cream which we will distribute nicely evenly.
GLAZ PREPARATION:
Put sweet sour cream in a bowl, but so that it does not boil, then add chocolate to combine everything and add the glaze over the pudding filling.
Leave the cake in the fridge for a couple of hours and then serve it cold, you can add some seasonal fruit to taste to the pudding filling.
This cold dessert is a real refreshment for hot days during the summer.
