Hey guys
First let me say this weather is really my favorite. I love the cold, I love the fact that I don’t need fan or air conditioner to have a chilled and cool night sleep even tho I still put them on. My favorite way to sleep is having everywhere cold and tucking myself under a heavy duvet. The feeling is unexplainable.
Another thing about cold weather for me is bathing with cold water. Normally I do not bath with hot water. You know when you say you just can’t do certain stuffs, that’s me when it Comes to bathing with hot water, I just can’t or let me say I can never voluntarily bath with hot water or warm water, even when I am sick or under the weather if left to choose I’ll bath with cold water, but my family or husband won’t allow it, still I find a way to get a little bit of cold water on my skin, after bathing with their by force hot water, I’ll still quickly turn on some cold water onto my skin only that way will I feel really clean. My husband calls me a cultist because of this, (in case you are wondering how?,Don’t worry I stayed in school hostel for four years, so I got so used to bathing outside in the cold with cold water) no matter how cold the weather is, I still bath morning and night with cold shower, it’s refreshing and I love the chilling feeling I get when I come out of the bathroom, aside this I also heard it has its benefits to the skin as opposed to always using hot water on your skin.
This weather is what the people call a weather for two, this means that, the weather is conducive for romantic cuddling and under the duvet with light off adult activities. Well I can say that’s not happening from my end. Apart from the fact that I am enjoying the weather, my partner is having a tough time with it. He has never been one to love cold, any type of cold, he runs from air condition or fan. You would hardly find him craving a cold drink or cold air like me. When it comes to weather preferences we are totally opposite of each other, hence the reason why we always have rattle about leaving the fan on or off, turning off the air conditioner or not. It’s always a struggle because I do not do well with heat and I sweat easily, while he loves heat if I say so myself.
This weather has dealt him a great blow of sickness for this past week,he has been on drip/IV For the past three days and only just yesterday he had began to regain his strength and agility. So yea, I have been nursing my big baby since last week Thursday, and it hasn’t been fun at all. Weather that we would have use to chill and enjoy each other(crying),
In all am just grateful to God for his life, I was really scared when he fell sick last week thursday because he was burning up badly and I was scared of him having rigor. At 5am I called the doctor and by 7am a nurse was at my gate to put him on drip. I chose house because that’s where we would be most comfortable, I hate hospitals and he hates hospitals too so having a home treatment was best for both of us.
The weather isn’t so great on our roads either, everywhere is damp, wet and flooded and it is really annoying, the constant rain isn’t allowing the old flood to wash away hence constant unmoving dirty water everywhere. Some people can’t come out of their streets or homes self. Clothes i washed since Saturday are in the dryer because I can’t hang them out due to constant rain. This year’s weather feels like it came with so much harshness tho.
