AGE DOES(not) QUALIFY MATURITY!.

You may be wondering why I said age "does(n't)" Obviously, I'm saying two things here "age does and doesn't" qualify maturity. This is because I've had so many people who act mature even at a tender age and I've also seen a couple others who aren't so mature at an old age. This is why I say that your age does and doesn't qualify the fact that you matured but rather, your ability being able to handle a situation the right way, how you act, think, and respond to stimuli and bring about solutions to a problem. I believe this is what makes you seen as a mature person.
Even though there is a general range that has been accepted worldwide to be the required age one is considered as an adult and that is the age of 18(eighteen).
Believe me, the age of 18 should clearly not be seen as an adult age but rather it should be seen as an age where one is no longer a minor.
In most countries in the world today including my country, once you are at the age of 18, you are legally seen as an adult but I quite disagree with this fact and I'll tell us why.
18 years of age should be just a range that shows maturity which means at this age, one is supposed to be given a certain degree of freedom and human rights like, the right to vote, the right to own a car and drive, etcetera. and of course stop being treated as a minor obviously because you're becoming old and no longer a child
Now, let me emphasize on the age of 18 being a worldwide acceptable age to be seen as an adult and having the license to view adult content.
Adult content includes sex-related content, drinking alcohol, betting/gambling and etcetera.
I feel the age of 18 is still too young to some extent to start getting exposed to adult content because not everyone at the age of 18 is mature enough to handle content as such, statistically for me, I would say that only 65% of people at the age of 18 are matured enough to view adult contents. If you would ask me what age should be considered for adult viewing content I would say between the ages of 20 to 23 because at this age, about 80,85 to 90% of people at this age should be mature enough to be legally exposed to adult content.
Here in conclusion I want to say that age doesn't really matter in being an adult but what matters is your intelligence quotient (IQ) even though the IQ gradually improves as one grows older, you can still have a high IQ at a young age. It all depends on your level of exposure, education, self-esteem, and home training. All of these together can give you better morals, a good sense of reasoning, and maturity even at a very young age.
