mediating a problem, is a difficult thing to do because we will be dealing with two people who are in a high emotional state. Being a mediator is quite difficult, especially since we must really be able to control the situation and conditions, find solutions to the two problems that we are mediating, and control our own emotions so as not to be provoked and enter into the problems we want to reconcile. be a mediator, sometimes can lead to success (peace) and can also increase the tension of anger so as not to find a solution to the problem and even make the conditions of the argument worse. I was once the arbiter of two of my friends who were fighting until in the end I couldn't find a solution to make the situation worse and in the end they didn't reconcile and kept fighting. How was my story when I was a mediator, so I will write in this edition. I hope that my writing in this edition will be of interest to all readers.
I was once the mediator of a problem experienced by two of my friends, and the incident occurred when I was in the second grade of high school. My friend is named Agus and Ferry. The incident began when two of my friends were having a fight which was triggered because of the debt problems they both had. they both have debts between them and not one of them.
The misunderstanding between my two friends began when the ferry collected a debt from Agus. but said the agus the debt did not need to be paid because the ferry also has a debt to him. but the fery insisted on collecting it because according to him, he was in need of money for his needs. At first, Agus didn't care because he remembered that his debt to the ferry had not been paid. Within a few days, the ferry continued to claim debts from Agus until in the end, Agus couldn't hold back his patience and anger and in the end they both had a fight. I at that time saw the two of them fighting, so I came and tried to resolve their problems.
I separated the two of them so they wouldn't fight again until I brought them both to the middle of the school yard and I tried to mediate between the two of them. I spoke nicely to my two friends so that their problems were resolved amicably. but the ferry still insisted the money was returned. but the agus didn't want to because he thought his debt had not been paid and had not even been paid for a long time. until I mediated them several times that your problem was over because you both have debts with a nominal that is not much different. and even after I detailed their two debts, the rest I wanted to pay off so the two of them would no longer fight. but the ferry still insisted the money was returned until in the end my mediation did not produce anything. I finally couldn't mediate them and I left their problems to the teachers at my school.
Being a mediator is the most difficult thing because we have to control two people who are at the peak of emotions. but besides that, being a mediator is a noblest attitude because it can reconcile and find a solution to a problem. so because of that, a mediator will continue to try to find a solution to a problem until in the end he gets a solution to a problem and seeks peace.
