Talking about a role model, surely we have a role model that we always follow. whether it's from his track record, his life story, and the success he has achieved. surely all of us have a role model for us to follow in their footsteps so that we can be like them. I have a role model whose hard work, determination, passion, and never give up to introduce his work so that it can be accepted by the wider community. and now, his work is known to the whole world. he is Colonel (Harland) Sanders or he is better known as the inventor and founder of KFC. why I really idolize this figure, so I will write in this edition. I hope that my writing in this edition will be of interest to all readers.
Colonel (Harland) Sanders was born on September 9, 1890 in Indiana, United States. he is the eldest of 3 siblings. He doesn't come from a rich family. His father is a farmer and his mother is a housewife. Colonel (Harland) Sanders' career is not quite beautiful, he has been in the Army, firefighters, blacksmiths, and has even been a laborer. however, his career did not go as smoothly as dai expected. he tried a lot of other jobs. but all is not as expected. then because the economic pressure is very high so he has to turn his mind to look for income. Colonel Sanders is good at cooking, he tries to create his skills by making a breakthrough in his work, namely fried chicken. Initially his work was rejected for various reasons. according to the news, the work was rejected almost dozens of times. However, because he believed that what he created would be accepted by the public and worldwide, he did not give up and continued to introduce the work he created until he tried to buy a restaurant and introduce what he created. until gradually the people accepted and finally KFC was established as we know it today. and growing very rapidly as we see today.
What makes me really inspired by this character and becomes my role model is that he doesn't give up. He doesn't come from a rich family. so it is required to always work and try. but what really inspires me is, when he creates a work, he gets a lot of rejection. but he tries to gain public trust in other ways. so that the work he creates can be accepted by the community. So what if after dozens of rejections of the work he created and he was discouraged? the answer is no. he continues to work hard, patiently, steadfastly and continues to strive for his work to be accepted so that the rejection becomes a compliment and the praise has spread throughout the world.
