Today's episode of Keeping up with the Hive Learners Community would be focused on the Discord Server. I have noticed that we actually have alot of fun on the Discord server and it would be very cool to categorise the different individuals from HL you can find on Discord.
Oops!!... Do not take the name to heart, it just the most suitable name I could find for this category. Well you see that notification from Discord- "XYZ just landed on the server", well these are the guys responsible for messages like that.
They are new and extremely confused about what to do on Discord, they are mostly asking about Verification and Video Capture. Lovely members are always quick to direct them, but most times they feel lost on the Server.
These are the life of the Discord server meetings, they are the first set of users to arrive on Discord, they seem to have an alarm for the meeting. They spend the first 5 to 10 minutes hailing everyone on the server. Even when you are trying to hide from getting noticed, boom you get tagged immediately. If everyone has an average message of 250, they would have double or triple this figure.
These are the users who love to crack jokes on the server. They introduce themselves into the meetings with GIFS or Memes. You barely need to find them, they arrive in a funny style which would put a smile on your face. You can barely beat them with jokes, they have large collection of GIFs waiting to reply any message.
These people never smile or make fun of jokes. They take voting seriously and are committed to it. Reading their Discord chats will reveal how serious they are. They barely show any funny emotions when responding to messages; it always just direct statements. Their company motto is "all work and no play."
These individuals compete for bant on the Discord server. They take the time to practice verbal "Violence" before using it. Each gathering provides the opportunity for teasing and trolling to choose a week's worth of winner. It is not advised for those who are faint hearted to join in the troll.
One of the most endearing aspects about Discord gatherings is this. Everyone seems to be catching up, and then suddenly active users get tipped. The influence of money is strong because you can observe the inactive people start typing in order to receive a tip from the giveaway Lords. A clever idea, but it's too late and nothing will work out for you.
These users would prefer to travel the world on foot than tip any other user. The goal is always to avoid tipping other user by making jokes. These users' hands are gum-glued, thus only jokes may be exchanged, not even ecency points.
These are the mute but active voting members of the community. They barely send more than three messages on Discord server. You can only get greetings or reaction to a message from them. They are the individuals responsible for just voting on topics alone and then they are done, they simply disappear into thin air
These are the categories of individuals who are always complaining about the nature of the topics. It is always about how emotional or hard the topics can be. It is always about a feedback about the topics selected
These are the users who are always soliciting for the voting strength of other users on their preferred topics. It takes just a simple text to initiate the campaigning efforts, most times a giveaway works perfectly to change the minds of people to pick certain topics
The direct opposite of earlybirds, these are the members who would miss the beginning of the meeting and also miss voting at the end. There is always an excuse-" It could be low battery, deep sleep or no network coverage". They are always apologizing for turning up late to meetings
