Giving Life a Second Chance

Life is not something we can create, nobody has the power to make a human but we have the power to revive them or save their lives from danger, we all have one person that we wish he or she should be alive now but death took them away from us untimely, if there is an opportunity to save a life while can't we just do that and put a smile on someone's face.

Saving lives should be our utmost priority, there is no joy in seeing people losing their lives when we can actually help, in my opinion, there is nothing bad in organ transplanting in as much as it is useful to another person.

I wish I could saved a life when I lost my grandmother, she died in old age and was very healthy, if I had seen anyone who needed an organ at that time I would have donated it freely for them because it is of no use after her demise but giving the organ to other person can actually save that person's life.

In Africa our mentality is so different because most people would rather die and be buried with their complete organs than help and save others' lives, we all believe in a religion that it is very wrong for a dead person to be buried without their organs.

If the government issues a decree that all healthy organs should be removed from the deceased and donated them to the sick then it is a good thing, it is of no use when they die, it is better to save a sick person than to bury the organ that is useful for others, I will have no problem with that In as much they are not selling those organs to them, it should be free and their treatment should be also free.

The only problem I can have is when the government is using this medium to make money for themselves, I believe all treatment should be free and the government should be responsible for every sick person's treatment, if this is free then I can fully support the idea of removing the deceased organs for the benefits of other sick people who are still struggling for their lives.

So many people have died due to heart failure or kidney failure, if some of these organs are present in the Lab, I believe the rate at which people lose their lives through this will be minimal.

How are we sure that the doctors are not removing the organs and sell to others without the consent of their family members? Even some mortuary attendance are in this game, can't we just save lives by donating it to people who truly need it, some people died at the scene of the accident and will be buried immediately, the doctors can examine them and know if their organs are functioning and then be useful for others but this should be done with the consent of the family members, no organs should be removed without consulting the family members of the deceased.

The government can do better by obtaining permission from any family members of the deceased and if they are willing to render help to others then they can go ahead because not all religions will permit the removal of organs before burying the deceased but in my opinion, I would say since this is a way of helping other family and saving a soul I will support the government on this.
Imagine the lives saved if every usable organ was donated. Families would find solace knowing their loved one's legacy lives on.

This is my response to this hivelearners community prompt of #hl-135e2 which the topic is tagged ORGAN DONATION IS A MUST
